Was lucky enough to see him play absolute class. He had everything, total footballer and in my option the GOAT.
It's worth watching this very good documentary about his life in Italy where he single handed lifted Napoli to champions. After his time in Spain where they kicked chunks out of him and before the Naples Camorra got their claws into him.
For me his off field choices make his abilities/performances/career all the more special.
Another of my faves from that era - although admittedly not as good - was Socrates. Smoked like a chimney, captained Brazil, became a Doctor. My favourite quote of his is “it’s better to lose beautifully than win ugly”. What’s not to like?
