The decision to take Nouble off was the last straw for me, that was all about him and his tactical decision making in the heat of the moment and he got it wrong imo. This rant is about 6 games too late

:thinking about: hmmmmmm....... I shan't hold my breath to see what changes are made. All well and good spouting on about getting rid of under-performing players, but who is he replacing them with? All a bit of hot air and anger at the moment.

Watched it with my wife last night in bed, she was pissing herself at him, in a good way.

02:41 onwards, watch with the sound off, his eyes!! Hardly blinks and they're the eyes of someone who's ready for a scrap.

I hope he turns it round, and saves me making another thread 5pm Saturday about him needing to go....again.

loving it.

squads more than good enough, efforts just not there

lets hope we see an intense high press with lots of challenging for headers and tackles.

I do think we'll see changes in January. As you say, what can he do now?

January is 2 months away Torchy. We can lose a lot of games until then.

Am guessing this 'incident' was simply players who were not bothered about losing at all and were all cheery in the changing room, maybe even making jokes about losing the tie.

The problem is the same as always what do we do with the ones we have got as nobody with any sense will take them on so we start paying up contracts again maybe it would be easier to pay up the contracts of the idiots who keep signing the wrong players!

It looks to me that he is slightly out of control of the team (and himself). I am all for passion but this is slightly unhinged...

Suppose it is better than the Arsene Wenger esque response of 'we are the better team, the ref blah blah blah.'

I like his passion. It obviously hurts, which IMO is a good thing. I am not up for this constant changing of managers, he is developing and will learn by his mistakes. I would keep hold of him, because what we do need is some consistency. Players lose games, never mind tactics, these are professional athletes and you can not tell me that they are unable to work out to crack a bunch of part-timers (no disrespect) and are not up for a scrap? the players are a disgrace and yes they are SP's players, you cant polish a turd but you can expect effort. Unfortunately this shower of shit is all we are able to sign. What decent player, in their right minds would want to play for us? So I have some sympathy for SP.
Just a further thought Reda, played with his head heavily bandaged, I watched him head a ball clear and hold his head afterwards in pain. He still headed the next one. I hope the SP is not talking about him, Madders, Haynes, J O'B or Fleck. The rest can fuck off.

Usually when I see WARNING shocking uncut video it's some poor fucker being ate by a tiger or a 20yr old zit being squeezed . Not some dour jock who's starting to come over as slightly deranged ;)

Yeah, this video is him starting to come over as slightly deranged, but the following one is of him eating a 20 year old acne ridden lad and then throwing him to a tiger.

I heard he tried to eat Haynes-he was caught orange handed.

He seems a bit angry.
Is he angry?

Seriously, that's the passion I want to see in a manager. Hope the players get the message.

At one point I thought he was going to lose it. I'm able to go this weekend, will see if I can get down there to see what kind of reaction he gets.

You fuckin signed the fuckers sp so the fault lies with you

Depends who the culprits are to be honest.

If one was Barton, then he's not one of Pressley's. If it was Allsop or McQuoid, then that's one of the 3 Bournemouth loan players that were probably foistered upon him as a sweetner for the Wilson deal.

Besides that, you can scout a player and see how he performs on occasions, but it must be much harder to gauge their mentality and desire, that may be manifest in some games, but not in others.

As has been said before, this isn't about whether the players are good enough or not, this is about attitudes.

If one is Johnson, then apparently he seemed to have the prefect attitude as a player. We all thought so didn't we when he came?

I'm not gonna name names...but I've seen the difference in effort from the players.....if they lose but look as if they give a shit..it's not so hard to stomach
but a minority of this bunch really don't seem to care a fuck!!!!
Pressley said Worcester wanted it more...and there you have it....we are not blessed with a squad that can afford to "not want it" against anybody.

He has defended these players after games when I was surprised...but enough is enough...and I kinda like the fact that Pressley is so animated about this farce.

TBF I think he is one of the players he was on about heard he was not happy at being selected as he didn't want to be cup tied.

Says it all really wants to move on.

Glad he's come out with genuine anger and passion for the embarrassment the players heaped on the club and fans the true test of any good manager is not when things are going well , if he'd of came out after the game protecting the players and reeling off text book excuses I'd of been a lot more critical he's threw the blame directly at their door now let's see how they perform with the micro scope on them . And I completely agree with the sentiment if your here to Coast through your contract FUCK OFF

If that's true it really is sickening.

Why put the shirt on if you couldn't give a shit.

Are we just a shop window club???

Seems like it after Wilson & Clarke.

But wasn't it Ipswich who changed their minds about letting him play. Also, as I said at the beginning of the week, he didn't look happy to be coming off to me, particularly with his exaggerated clapping of the crowd.

Well the way I see it is Ipswich have made up their minds that he is not in their plans.
Nouble on the other hand maybe thinking he has a better chance of moving else where if he is not cup tied.

Just an opinion but this rumour came from the dressing room.

If he is playing tonight it is probably bullshit but hey lets wait and see.

I'm pleased with pressley's response to that shocking display, tho I feel it should of been done weeks ago, the times he's come out an said he was happy with the level of commitment an desire his players shown when the fans had differing opinions on that. Like after the Crewe game.... Doubt we will see many changes tonight due to forced changes to the starting 11 in line with the jpt rules. But I hope we do over the next few weeks, but need the individuals of the starting 11 to show that commitment an desire tonight or this slump goes deeper.

It is not the first time this has happened, won't be the last ether.
Most players believe they are better then they actually are, but you can blame their agents for that..
