That would make sense. Stuart still an arse thoughSee that’s where I think SISu have been sneaky - they’ve agreed to stop legals against wasps.
wasps got wind and for some reason want to stop proceedings full stop. I don’t get why wasps need to defend the council
That's because your capacity for understanding is on par with a 6 month old hamster.
It has never been easier to carry out large scale engagement either, but it's much more convenient to engage with people with whom you're likely to agree.Democracy is won by establishing a process that can be seen to be fair, open and available.
The Trust has any number of potential mechanisms to find out the opinions of its members online.
Presumably they've still got our emails from when we signed up, but I can't remember the last time any attempt to make contact with the wider membership was attempted.
Patently it's not open or democratic if the only way to represent one's opinion to the Trust is to attend in person on a set night; that's designed to exclude. Clearly the venue couldn't come close to accomodating everyone the Trust claims to speak for in any case.
If the trust wants to represent itself as a few blokes that can make a Monday night down the pub, that's fine with me. If it wants to claim it's speaking on behalf of a larger number of fans then it should get off its collective arse and engage them,
Schmee, you're talking shite. If an organisation wants to be representative of a group they need to make it as easy as possible to join and participate. They should be asking for feedback on how they can do those things effectively. No one has spoken up to say that they do this so taking this board as a sample, they're falling well short.
The Trust is shit”“The Trust is shit”
Hey guys good news, turns out they are a democratic organisation with a rule book that can be followed. You could change that if you want.
“Fuck you, what’s your problem?”
Never change SBT.
If they did go down it wouldn't be a surprise to see their crowds drop off at a much greater level than you normally see with a relegated club which will just make their problems worse. On the CWR rugby show tonight they had some “rugby expert” on the show who said that if Wasps get relegated they could probably survive for one season however if they didn’t get back up after that they would have to let The Ricoh go and wind up playing at Butts Stadium if Coventry would have them - they then talked about the prospect of Coventry Rugby Club getting promoted and if they did they would need to bring the Butts up to Premier League standard or they could move to The Ricoh and stadium share.
Wasps are seriously on a knife edge - if they indeed did get relegated this season I think they would be on the brink!
Bring it on!!!
I am praying Wasps get relegated - if we get promoted too that will represent the perfect storm!!!
They were aiming to be the best team in Europe, then win the Premiership, then finish in the top 4, then the top half. Now their aim is to stay in the league. It’s very unlikely that Wasps will go down unfortunately.
View attachment 13862 I’m not so sure - they are right in the mix at the wrong end of the table!
The refinancing prospectus will be an interesting read if they aren't in the top division! They were aiming to be the best team in Europe, then win the Premiership, then finish in the top 4, then the top half. Now their aim is to stay in the league.
What's your logic there? Wasps and Irish are level on points but you think Wasps could finish 7th with Irish certs for relegation.Unfortunately they’re not even half way thought yet. It’s likely to be London Irish that go down and I imagine wasps will catch Worcester as well
I don’t think people (especially the wasps ‘fans’) really understand the seriousness of wasps financial position. If they do get relegated and there is a high possibility that this will happen (if not then certainly next season with the cost cutting) they will be liquidated. End off.On the CWR rugby show tonight they had some “rugby expert” on the show who said that if Wasps get relegated they could probably survive for one season however if they didn’t get back up after that they would have to let The Ricoh go and wind up playing at Butts Stadium if Coventry would have them - they then talked about the prospect of Coventry Rugby Club getting promoted and if they did they would need to bring the Butts up to Premier League standard or they could move to The Ricoh and stadium share.

It's going to be difficult enough for them to refinance if the EC complaint is upheld. The refinancing prospectus will be an interesting read if they aren't in the top division!
As much as I’d love to see it - Wasps won’t get relegated, Rugby is stacked so the bigger teams don’t get relegated
What's your logic there? Wasps and Irish are level on points but you think Wasps could finish 7th with Irish certs for relegation.
Must be a rugby thing, makes no sense to me.Based on squad capability. It would be like looking at the premiership and thinking Arsenal are as likely to go down as Southampton.
Wasps are poor this year no doubt, but them, Tigers and Sarries will steer clear of the drop
Must be a rugby thing, makes no sense to me.
If I look at the table I see Arsenal in the top half well clear of the relegation zone, and then Southampton a bit below them but nowhere near the relegation zone.
Then I look at Wasps and they are effectively 3rd from bottom level on points with the team 2nd from bottom and only two points ahead of the bottom team. Last week they blew a lead to lose against a team that had 2 players sent off, couple of weeks ago they blew a 17-0 lead to lose - both at home!
If that was us I wouldn't be in the slightest bit confident we were staying up.

good point, changed it.Wash. Your. Mouth. Out.

“There is no way for me to interact using their antiquated processes”
give up then

However, London Irish beat wasps at the Ricoh this season already...I don’t think you understand the difference in stature between the teams that’s all. Wasps are on a bad run and they do have a relatively poor team. However, they are better than Irish and I cannot see a scenario where Irish finish above them
I think they will go down. Leicester are turning the corner, having won the last game. Saracens will rise, they have a strong side and with potentially 5 points per game available, should be in plus score within 2 games. Irish have beaten Wasps away so must be confident for the return. Wasps are really in a downward spiral. lets hope Worcester give them a tonking!!I don’t think you understand the difference in stature between the teams that’s all. you are correct about the bonus point for 4 tries but incorrect about no points for losing if you lose but are within 7 points of the opposition you also get a losing bonus point.Teams only get a bonus point if they score 4 tries, nothing if they lose and 4 points if they win. point each for draw.
Cov rugby are rattling up the bonus points this season. Strong possibility they could play Insects in the play off round for Promotion. Oh, what a joy that would be!!
