Or what he may have been told by the Sky Blues Trust!... and probably CCC as part of their "media war" with SISU - "let's get Richard Keys on the case" or words to that effect.Imagine quoting David Conn, that horrible prick only writes what fits his agenda.
Just assume it will be shit and if for a change something good happens it will be a nice surpriseSo reading the thread, it's highly unlikely that whatever happens will be good for ccfc .. ever the optimists
I guess theoretically it can’t be any worse than it has at other points during the last decade. So reading the thread, it's highly unlikely that whatever happens will be good for ccfc .. ever the optimists

It can always get worse, always.I guess theoretically it can’t be any worse than it has at other points during the last decade.

I thought that this sort of situation would be ideal for them.I dunno, there’s always been this pipe dream of Sisu getting the ground the. Selling us to all the billionaires who will want us. Or if said billionaires cutting out the middle man they’ll buy them both at the same time.
If this ends up with a new ACL/Wasps owner and Sisu are still here I think that would be the end of hoping
I’m surprised it’s still on Augusts report. It was always in Richardsons name, not Wasps - as I pointed out ages ago in one of their forums, alongside all the other Richardson companies designed to exploit the area around the arena.Still there then ? Just not progressed
Spot the sideways shuffle from WH to another entity outside the group ?
Taken from the administrators interview with the Coventry Telegraph:
“I am sure if in the fullness of time, there is a new owner for that business (ACL) because that's going through an AMA (accelerated mergers and acquisitions) process as well, which we're running, that they would want to have Wasps as a tenant. Because obviously it's important to have the tenant for the income and I am sure that is where they would look to play”.
"The real thrust now, must be to find a preferred party. We've been talking to somebody today, and are reasonably hopeful, confident, I would say that tomorrow we will be pushing them forward and pushing them in front of the RFU to get that process going”
I wonder who this is….guess we’ll find out soon enough!
Will we the fans be happy with Wasps as a tennant if they are I’d assume all the Wasp badges etc will stay.Taken from the administrators interview with the Coventry Telegraph:

I can't see how if we have already sawn them in half. Will we the fans be happy with Wasps as a tennant if they are I’d assume all the Wasp badges etc will stay.
as long as we make their badges as small as possible, make them have the away dressing room, and just pay their rent like a good tenantWill we the fans be happy with Wasps as a tennant if they are I’d assume all the Wasp badges etc will stay.
I really don't see why anyone would buy before ACL admin. I can see why CCC/administrators are bigging up the supposed interest, but to me it's like an eBay listing with a buy-it-now price of £100 but also an auction starting at £5...Taken from the administrators interview with the Coventry Telegraph:

There was zero chance of Sisu even making an offer for the stadium let alone getting them on board. It was a fantasy

Urgh I have a really horrible feeling this is going to go tits up for us.
The initial joy of Wasps demise has faded, now I'm really worried that the absolute best opportunity to tie the stadium and club back together is going to slip through our fingers.
It seems so ripe for someone like Mike Ashley to buy up the lot, there is plenty of scope to make a success of the club and stadium business, really the only chance we have of becoming a sustainable club with a chance to progress. I have no faith in either SISU or the council being sensible.
I really think an events firm in like NEC taking over would be a disaster for CCFC. They are going to want a massive percentage of match day revinue and would probably want more rent. These are the things that are holding us back.
I get some people's adversion to the idea of Ashley getting involved but he'd be ideal. He'd want to get us into the Prem asap but wouldn't over stretch to get there.
Is there any way of contacting him en masse and appealing to his ego to come on and save us?!
Why on earth would anyone wanting to buy wasps in there right mind want to continue playing in Coventry in front of less than 4,000 gates in the championship?Taken from the administrators interview with the Coventry Telegraph:

Think you're getting ahead of yourself, nobody knows what NEC would do or whether they want it, Wasp only went into admin yesterday, lots to happen in the coming weeks/monthsUrgh I have a really horrible feeling this is going to go tits up for us.

I’m sure he’s been playing around on his calculator to make some numbers/scenarios work before making a bid.He wanted Derby plus their stadium in a lower division. Surely he’ll at least have considered the option here.
I thought that this sort of situation would be ideal for them.
They don't have to actually buy the ground but they can sell to someone who would want a club and ground who also buys the ground.
They can over value us knowing that the person buying the ground needs the club, the council can be rid of sisu for good without giving them a community asset.
Wasps stood in the way, maybe they still do is an issue.
I hope someone is negotiating for both. If it doesn't happen now then it never will.
I don’t think the nec would want the stadium. They don’t have enough events at the nec to justify buying another venue in my opinion. The cbs would just be an overspill to the nec and I don’t think the cbs has ever made enough cash to warrant all the effort personally.Think you're getting ahead of yourself, nobody knows what NEC would do or whether they want it, Wasp only went into admin yesterday, lots to happen in the coming weeks/months

There’s going to be good days and bad days over the next two to three weeks.

No doubt he'll have had a look.
He strikes me as the type of guy that might appreciate a bit of ego massaging from our fans, let him know he could come in and get the club back.. let him know we aren't as delusional as Newcastle fans

I thought it had been all bit confirmed that the NEC group had expressed interest?

Greens and drips go hand in hand. The greens councillor is an absolute drip
Ashley would be ideal, just as long as he doesn’t replace Robins with Bruce.
