Some wonderful office meme use on here over this debacle, heartening in these difficult times
When you have a leasehold you own the property for the duration of the lease but not the land it is built on. You are liable for all repairs and maintenance. There are also terms and conditions you must keep to.Normally, tenants aren't allowed to do anything to a property without the ok from the freeholder, so who would that be then?.......................
Oh fuck!
They’re a vile bunch.
Honestly I don't even really want them popping back up in London. No doubt attempting to fuck some other unsuspecting football club about. I want them gone, flushed down the eternal toilet. They’re a vile bunch.
Aah it’s alright. Think of the rest it’s going to get during the World Cup because the Rugby tenants are dead and won’t get chance to ruin it

Lot's of free tickets being handed out in schools yesterday, i quite like rugby league but wouldn't pay that much to watch it.Fuck the “rugby family”.
£70 a ticket (which is bad tbf) they’re complaining about. Put two football nations of similar stature of the sport there for the same price and that sells out within hours.
Why do they even bother when the games are televised? All that happens is they announce an attendance and get ridiculed as everyone can clearly see its inflated. That made up attendance figure is laughable - the sport is a joke.
Just two more of these games a year and wasps could have been saved.
They generate about £50m a pop each yeah?
Wendyball fans probably created Covid in a sisu lab to spite usCovid still though
The old smoke and mirrors cashflow.
The old smoke and mirrors cashflow.
On Wasps attendances one big concert does probably equal 5 prem matches in cashflow. Cashflow doesn't mean profit.
More a reflection on rugby income rather the concert income. But maybe figures NEC would be looking at in their bid for the arena.
Also plenty of non-COVID years if concerts are so great why didn't they do more? Maybe not so many bans can sell tickets like Rammstein.
Absolutely what a Cnut
According to the Times, CBS lease to be sold next week.
Launchbury on £400k and others nearly as much and they wonder how they’ve gone bump

If they've got £5m knocking around shouldn't that be going to pay their debts? The club have made plans to fund their existence in the Championship next season, which is expected to cost about £5 million.
