Does SISU?That question should be asked of CCC!!!
Would guess it depends on the circumstances and if anything is being done in the background as a backup plan.Doubt we'd be allowed to postpone any more without severe punishment. Think we are sleepwalking into this a bit

Have faith - I'm sure SISU know what they are doing to ensure the games will be on - they've never let us down in the pastIf ACL is liquidated, as is the threat, and the stadium locked up with sub lease to CCFC voided, wouldn’t that also apply to the Casino and other ventures located there also having to close?
You would think so.If ACL is liquidated, as is the threat, and the stadium locked up with sub lease to CCFC voided, wouldn’t that also apply to the Casino and other ventures located there also having to close?
See you in BurtonHave faith - I'm sure SISU know what they are doing to ensure the games will be on - they've never let us down in the past
It's just unfortunate timing that we have 2 consecutive home games after tonight's game. We did organise a cup game at Burton at very short notice early on in the season. Something like that would be better than nothing if needed, provided it could be arrangedDoubt we'd be allowed to postpone any more without severe punishment. Think we are sleepwalking into this a bit

More than the council did.
I just don't really trust sisu or the council to be actively doing anythingWould guess it depends on the circumstances and if anything is being done in the background as a backup plan.
On the plus side, we have plenty of experience of playing our 'home' games at multiple locations. Any other team would be stuffed in these circumstances.Have faith - I'm sure SISU know what they are doing to ensure the games will be on - they've never let us down in the past
Don't worry, Boddy is on the case I'm sure.Doubt we'd be allowed to postpone any more without severe punishment. Think we are sleepwalking into this a bit

Or perhaps we could call ourselves 'shareholders', just floatin itSo hang on here mate...you want a number of us, let's call ourselves 'bondholders' for shits and gigs, to put forward money to finance a stadium purchase, as a collective?
What could go wrong?! ;-)
FWIW, I'm in but seeing how it was ballsed up by the insects, I'm be sceptical.
That'll do for me, SOLD!!
How much is the matchday cost think I’ve read on here there’s 200 (stewards I suppose) security staff which on a very rough estimate assuming a 5 hour shift it be would be approximately £8K that’s 400 walk ups at 20 quid a head. I know there are other staffing issues such as catering etc who I assume are paid by the catering company plus flood lighting and other running costs admin etc but would £10/12k cover it all ? that’s 600 walk ups at 20 quid all very approximate but would be small change in some benefactors pocket even Joys. The council gave us assurances that tonight would be on, and it is. They also have said they can't give those assurances for Saturday if administration happens, which it looks like it will. Personally I'd be more than a bit concerned.

Is that per match though or annually which would be about £600k which I always thought it was and sometimes there are police free games, didn’t see very many old bill in the ground v Sheffield United which I’d assume would command a good few cops compared to tonights or even Wigan Saturday.Police are £30k !
I think if police are asked for inside the stadium WMP decide the numbers.Believe me WMP are laughing all the way to the bank. Nice little earner for them.
Stairs going up to the boardroomGet dion Dublin on the case

Just to be completely clear I'm not asking anyone for any money mate, never would, I've got to live in this town....
.... however, if you want my account details...
Seriously, if you did this, I don't think you do it as a bond, this isn't an investment. It's about securing the stadium for use by the football club. Maybe you could give investors some kind of perk, but it's not a profit making exercise.
I'm obviously no expert, but I'd set up something like a CIC so the assets are locked in. That way if you do get the lease there's no option for anyone involved to screw everyone over and sell it on.
In terms of fundraising you've obviously got to put plausible proof of funding up to the administrator (not online poker winnings), but you also need to guarantee that individuals investing/donating money get it back if the bid isn't accepted. That sounds a lot like escrow to me.
Other fans groups have bought grounds, and indeed clubs, so it feels vaguely possible if somewhat complex. If the club aren't going to make a move though, it would be nice if the fans could...
Buying the ground would be one thing, managing it and trying not to end up in hopeless debt quite another.
Something a bit like this
Always hoped it would happen when we first left the Ricoh.Yep, that's the idea. No one makes money out of it, but you get some pleasure out of it perhaps. A bit like when some of us actually had shares in the club...
