Shrewsbury forward Marquis was sent off after throwing an elbow last weekend 13 seconds into their game. That tied an EFL record.
Bobby Thomas was taken out with a very similar elbow in almost the exact same spot on the pitch after 8 seconds. No card.

I saw that yesterday as he's ex-Pompey and one of my mates showed me. Definite red card as well. Made me wonder if there was any previous between Marquis and the fella he elbowed.
