Football nowadays is too soft. A scary player in these times is one impotently shouts at a ref. I'd take a Roy Keane or a sneaky Dennis Wise type over any of the fancy dans that play now. Ones that stood up for their team-mates, or who had that guile and menace that made the opposition think twice. We haven't had someone like that for more years than I can remember.
