The man was garbage. I think I understand what you're trying to say but he was absolutely horrendous. Slow, turns like a bus. No tactical awareness. He brought Absolutely nothing other than experience.

I'm just glad mowbray sees it how I do and got rid of him.

Again I see your point. Ricketts ain't all that. He hasn't even signed and we are acting like we would be lucky to get him. He isn't that good ffs.

As for Webster, he needs to be binned. Rightly so. Whilst he has a more impressive attitude than reda you may say but reda defends the pants off Webster. More goals, quicker, stronger, attacking threat. Come on.

Where Webster ends up will be a good measure of how good the football fraternity rate him, like the debates about David bell he was playing for Kings Lynn 6 months after having his contract cancelled by Cov but many fans thought we should have kept him. Paul McGraph was still a great defender after losing his pace, Terry Butcher was never the quickest even in his prime but by the time he started playing for us he knew he wasn't physically capable desite having over 70 caps and playing in the world cup 5 months previously. Webster is too slow and cvery uncomfortable on the ball.

Do you agree stokes is better than Haynes then? It was you who dragged that silly thread about stokes up wasn't it?

I think Webster currently is binned......but he has asked TM to train with us for nothing and yes you can argue
it may benefit both parties mutually in the end I respect Webster a lot for that.

Better than swanning in missing first now two days training to have a casual chat about the future with your agent
in tow.......and Webster was available for far more games than Reda last year,,,in reality does he do more to earn his wages?

Do you trust that TM is a manager and a good judge of players then he dropped Webster early into his reign and then didn't offer him a new contract but you two seem to rate him. But luckily TM doesn't

Correct about Stokes looks too slow to me to be a full back but if Webster must be signed because he played for Scotland, what does it say about a player who has been in the non-league for 5 years. TM rates him though so I expect he will be first choice left back.

TM said he would have to be shrewd with the budget, perhaps spend a little less on players in less 'key areas' such as left/right back in order to fund a good striker for example. I reckon it's clever business - Stokes knows the players, setup etc so doesn't have that bedding in period as he's not coming in cold to the club and TM sees he's a trier and a listener so bringing him in is a quick win, solves LB so he can focus on the spine.
