Rugby Town really are a team that should be higher up the pyramid. With a population pushing 100,000 and a decent sized ground they should at least be at National League south level yet find themselves a few divisions below that.

Apropos of not much at all...
I note that Rugby Town's old ground on Bilton Road, which was owned by the Co-op, who chucked them out many, many years ago allegedly because they wanted to sell it for housing development... has now been sold for development and has been called Knox Court.
Irrelevant to us but for the fact that the Knox in question played for the City back in the fifties (and then went on to play for and manage Town for many years).
Fun (useless) Fact finished.
This season's Swiss Super League. No title race here but only nine points separate St. Gallen in second and Fc Winterthur is bottom place. Also, last seasons champions, FC Zurich are second bottom.
Segunda league in Spain always gets me. Always close, anyone beats anyone, and if top of the league goes away to bottom, bet on the home team. Away teams do not travel well in this country.
Special shout out to Burgos though, who didn't concede a single goal for the first ten games of the season. They have only won five games since that time. Mental.
Not an anomaly but was curious to see how we fared on a larger scale than just our league. Turns out we're currently ranked 223rd in the world according to FiveThirtyEight, roughly the same as LA Galaxy amongst others.
