The article is imo a load of old pony. Joy & the crew should stick to hedgefunding & real estate.

So, plan Z is to build a 'cheap as chips' stadium on the biggest piece of land you can get & plonk whatever you can on it, possibly houses, sell it asap & run to the hills with a return for the investors. WHAT ABOUT OUR 100 YEAR+ COVENTRY CITY FOOTBALL CLUB you bunch of scoundrels?

Beggars belief & I am now more entrenched........ NOPM (ever by the looks of it).

Do not, repeat, do not be fooled by this singlehandedly worse effort at PR I have ever read. Bet Max Clifford is on the phone to SISU right now, if he has stopped laughing.

THIS WHOLE MESS IS SISU's doing. NO ONE ELSE's & they just happen to have just embroiled everyone else into their colossal fuck up!

Great interview and great replies.

What is wrong with the club wanting to own its own stadium to be as viable and sustainable as possible, to compete and grow??

SISU aint going nowhere, until they turn this bad company around and sell it for a profit, the more you fight it, the longer it will take !

We should be demanding the council sell the ground 100%, to end this nightmare we are all going through

What person/company in their right mind is going to pay 50/60/80 million for a third division club? Anybody who even considered it, should be sectioned and locked away for their own good. The huge investment/losses that SISU have made are there responsibility alone no one else, no one should have to or indeed will pay it for them.
They may say they have no intention of selling, however every day people generally by financial necessity are forced to sell things they ordinarily may not want to. Of course they are not going to admit they wish to sell, why would they. However she has admitted to regretting ever buying the club.

thaiskyblue spin?? Looking forward to your investor information. You could always let Les 'SISU apologist' Reid have it ;)
support sisu all you like, they are taking the piss and some people believe it. the statements from them this week suggest to me NOPM is effecting them.
nopm !

True but I still can't see a new ground being a success, being out of Coventry is just one of the reasons, by the time the stadium is built alot of fans of todays generation will have turned there back on CCFC.

For me it spells a permanent downgrade for the club..

And for that reason, I'm out.

I think the key thing here is not WHAT she's saying but WHY she's saying it NOW.

Lets face it, there's nothing new in her words, so why after years of silence is she talking NOW?

Answer: to try to win over public opinion to the view that SISU are really trying to act in the interests of the football club. She wants to win over the fans.

But why now? Because they're hurting, that's why. 1500 paying customers for home games is a disaster for SISU.

IMO those 1500 need to take a long hard look at themselves.

NOPM is screwing up SISU's little plan has prised our Joy out of her hole.

TIME TO STAY STRONG AND INCREASE THE PRESSURE WITH NOPM

"The business side is operationally in a good place. Tim Fisher’s done a good job."

On certain fronts he has. On the football side his record isn't bad - when he took over the club was a mess. His one huge mistake was not to sack thorn immediately and then to retain him at relegation.

Ranson could certainly learn from managerial section strategy.

Further to my previous post, she goes on to say :

"“Realistically, this council don’t think they can work with me. I know I cannot work with them. It doesn’t mean I can’t negotiate a deal."

So do you negotiate, or not? :thinking about:

'Can't work with' = Won't rent from
'Negotiate a deal' = Make an offer for ownership

'Not bad' is a fair description of what's happened on this pitch this season and last is it not? Not great, but not bad given the horrendous start last season.

Grendels quote re Tim Fisher was: " on the football side his record isnt bad......"

Is it me or does the data not speak?

It speaks well. It what way is his actual football record worse than ransons? Please articulate your logic.

Ranson played for Manchester City, Birmingham City, Newcastle United and Reading, was also England U21 international.

Who has Fisher played for?

Joe kinnear played for spurs and was a very good player. Do you think he is a good director of football?

Do you think Norwich are a better run club than us?
