Tbf the transfer fee is less to do with worth, more how much the selling club feel they can get for the player. Leicester definitely wouldn't have gone in initially with 8 mil. However I would say 4 million is about bang on. Would say McCormack is about 7/8 million.
Andy Carrol to Liverpool Torres to Chelsea Ronaldo or Bale to Madrid, theres justification in every sale, just ask the accountant 8m 1/10th of Bales/Ronaldos cost hell yeah he`s worth it
Or as LJC says 4m 1/20th of the value, there is the answer. Proportionally is he worth it, the team playing the right way feed the goat and all that, play to his skills!!!!
In 2 yrs its a 40m or 400k i know where my money is.
Another thought on proptional, could you make up a team of proportional value to actually challenge the team of real value? You know what the big teams cost, could one be built for a fraction of the price?
Take Madrid, or Utd or Barca, could you really make up a team of players at 10% the cost to play as well if not better?

Pedantic, if i must, especially to a teacher n all that, seriously was that the best answer? From zero to hero is that better?
A player that had no real value to one worth in excess of 2m maybe 3m?
