No, it is being sold block by block so you will be put in the next available seat
Yes I was, top tier centre, right at the very back. Apart from the colour which was amazing the noise was incredible ...but spit. One side would be singing..SCORE IN A MINUTE whlle the other side were singing the Coventry song. And don't forget there were only officially 25,000 city fans in 87 and there will potentially be many more this time. Also the seating at the new Wembley is a lot more personal than standing on the terraces in the 80s. The upper tiers are more like sitting in the posh seats at a cinema and not standing shoulder to shoulder jostling for position, which helps create an atmosphere. You also cant move about to where the singing is, and many many of the extra thousands that will be going, wont have been to a cty game perhaps ever. I went to the final with Southend, my home club against Crewe. Many of the numbers were the cucumber sandwich brigade who dont and wouldnt sing. The playoff final against Wycombe a couple of years ago a singing area was created which lead the rest of the crowd and the noise was very much more coherent. Beleive me ...a singing area is needed. Were you at Wembley in 87 ? It's all a singing area

If that is the case, what is the point of offering different categories with different prices. No, it is being sold block by block so you will be put in the next available seat

Directly behind the goal, about 10 rows from the back, our tickets were for the lower tier butYes I was, top tier centre, right at the very back. :emoji_thinking:Ahh, Now it makes sense.:emoji_thumbsup:Because they will sell different categories block by block?
so you have to wait until the block you wish to sit in becomes available, as I said very daft.Because they will sell different categories block by block?
I wouldn't say it to my wife, but it was certainly the best day of mine. I went to the match with my best mates tottenham ticket. Managed to swap it outside with a guy with a coventry ticket that wanted the spurs end. The ticket was for lower tier and i wanted top so I got inside and hung about the top entrance until a group of noisy city fans came by and got in the middle of them and we all pushed through the gate. They couldnt possible check each individual ticket so i just flashed mine and i was up where i wanted to be.Directly behind the goal, about 10 rows from the back, our tickets were for the lower tier but
We moved just before KO, the atmosphere was unbelievable.
Best weekend of my life.:emoji_relaxed:
I took my boy to Wembley for the first time at last year's JPT final and yes they do release them block by block, but you can still select your seats within that block. I went for aisle seats for the numerous 7yo trips to the loo.
Was in with the Oxford fans. I work there so know a fair few of their fans. Was a good day out. There's a huge undercover astroturf playground next to the outlet precinct at Wembley where we spent about 2 hours with about 200 Barnsley/Oxford kids. Great atmosphere. JPT/Checkatrade is a day out for the kids and pre-match entertainment etc is set up for them in mind.how come you went to barnsley jpt final?
And I take it they will start with best blocks first? No it's block by block, you can't pick a block like normal away games you will get put in a block that's next available. You can pick a category though
I tweeted and asked about category 1 as with them starting at the royal box I didn't want to have to wait until we reach the other side before getting my tickets
However cat 1 seems the exception, given that there's only one section of cat 1 seats
That sounds a bit bonkers. What if you have a large family?this is a joke. spoke to the club, I have 2 season tickets for me and my son. if I order more than 6 they might not guarantee all seats together and could be split. not impressed with this one bit

Had some events where they start from the outside and work their way into the middle, which then of course can leave it that you get crappier seats than those who buy them later.

If you want halfway line, cat 1 you'll need the other side block 123 I think.
Yep. Well it was in 87.they said it starts from royal box and then open up box towards the goals. so i assume block 123 will be the first block if its on halfway line? is royal box on halfway line?

Im just gonna log on 9am and choose cat 1. Sure it wont be a bad seat?
Bar hospitality is the best. You'd hope not for the most expensive seat in the house, bar hospitality
