King has done a good job I think, he's exceeded my expectations so far.

MVE is our prize asset id say.I actually don't think we'll sell anyone we don't want to this summer. If we did I suspect it would be Sheaf.

He's not a premier league player yet for me , his final ball and positioning still needs work but he has the potential to be as good as he wants to beMVE is our prize asset id say.
Please no, as I've banged on about for the last month he's probably the player we can least afford to lose right now.Remember it's '5 year project' which will include player sales. That £1.5 million on Sakamoto is going to provide a huge return at some point. My guess is we will sell him.this summer which will again provide money for.squad investment.
Not sure how you can say that after he has essentially built an almost entirely new squad that now sits in the top 6 alongside overhauling the commercial side of the club.Agree, but as others have said, early days.
Too early to be joining in with that fucking stupid song.
There’s been a couple of times he’s been caught out but I think he wouldn’t look out of place. He

Because he handed over far more cash to Peterborough than he was expecting...?The Peterborough chairman said we have a 'phenomenal' owner, after dealing with him on the EMC transfer.
This is what I thought…we basically gave them what they want.Because he handed over far more cash to Peterborough than he was expecting...?
Yeah I mean what I say is flippant of course, but I certainly wouldn't be offering up as an example of how good our chairman is, using the words of a rival chairman who ends up very satisfied with the deal he's struck! This is what I thought…we basically gave them what they want.
Fair play though. Sounds like we’d struggle to get him in the Summer.

For clarity, we've out the money we've received from transfers into new players and that in itself is encouraging (also gives me hope that whenever we sell one of our current squad, we'll use the cash), as it starting to develop Ryton. Now if he could start negotiating that longer term deal at the CBS, so much the better.
The club is generally in fantastic shape, can’t believe how depressed and detached I’d become with SISU and their fucking court cases dominating our football club.
There were some on here who still defended the vile Sharks !
We feel like a club worthy of a large city now
One thing the Peterborough owner does is say things!I guess he didn’t need to say anything
Couldn't agreemore. And not forgetting the Northampton, Birmingham fiasco. will
Yep those bastards SISU taking us out of the city and not buying the ground when they had the chance. Wonder what happened to the proposed new site at Warwick University lol.Couldn't agreemore. And not forgetting the Northampton, Birmingham fiasco.
Yeah, I wouldn’t really pay any attention to what their chairman is saying. He’s got a decent deal for them and was hardly going to say he’s got one over on him.Because he handed over far more cash to Peterborough than he was expecting...?
Don't remember that?I’m sure when we bought Freddy Eastwood (not long after Sisu took over) that Mick McCarthy said we were the most unprofessional club he’s ever dealt with.
Now we’re getting the opposite things said about us.

The location would be absolutely fine if that train station was not such a disasterNot a long term solution? We've been there (on and off due to a number of reasons) for nearly 20 years!!
The location, whilst I'm sure you'd all want it more central, obviously is practical as thousands have been going there for as I say, nearly 20 years!
They got shelved when King took over - his priority is remaining and in my opinion, still owning a slice of the arenaI really can’t see the CBS as a long term solution, the location is entirely impractical. I do wonder if we’re lucky enough to win that premier league promotion cheque in the next couple of years it might be best spent on our own stadium somewhere more sensible. Whatever did happen to those talks with Warwick university for some land?

Ahh yes “Uncle Ray” - arguably one of the worst chairmen we’ve had.I remember this twat being interviewed when he became chairman and being asked of his recollections as a player visiting HR.
He replied it wasn't a place he feared.
I don't think we feared any of the clown outfits he played for visiting HR either.
And seemingly every other ground in the country. Used to be able to see Fratton Park from my house, zero parking restrictions, zero problems. The location would also be fine if street parking were allowed like it was at HR.
Lucky you. Highfield Road was a nightmare when a match was on if you lived around there. And seemingly every other ground in the country. Used to be able to see Fratton Park from my house, zero parking restrictions, zero problems.
We were top 6 last season which was to all intents and purposes under sisu.
Can't let this go.
When there was talk of Gyokeres possibly being sold the summer before King took over Alan Nixon was reporting that we would have replaced him with a loan. Luke Plange was the name he was reporting. If Sisu had still been the owners in the THEN January transfer window, they would've sold Gyokeres or Hamer and we wouldn't have been in the top 6.
