We've no-one else to play there really. Don't think Tavares is the answer. Little choice I suppose, disappointing though.Prepare to be disappointed lads because the wing back system is back and will be for the remainder of the season due to the Tats injury
This worries me. Oh well....Prepare to be disappointed lads because the wing back system is back and will be for the remainder of the season due to the Tats injury
Discuss the West Bromwich Albion - Coventry City match, tactics and predictions
I want it back. 433 don't work with tavares. I love Palmer but he's so much better as a number 10 compared to LWPrepare to be disappointed lads because the wing back system is back and will be for the remainder of the season due to the Tats injury
Box midfield but the wing backs need to be a lot more aggressive than they were last time in this system. No good ending up under siegeI want it back. 433 don't work with tavares. I love Palmer but he's so much better as a number 10 compared to LW
Right decision to go back to wing backs.
Wright. Not been quite right since back from injury. Simms really starting to show progress for me.If we play the box, who misses out - Wright or Simms?

I thought that Saddlebrains had already confirmed it was a back 5?There's not going to be a box, it will be 4 at the back.

Your source seems to have dealt you a few duff ones lately. Perhaps we should go with the opposite of what comes backI will ask for an update today
Dont think its a coincidence that Robins switched to that for the last 35 against Maidstone either
Agree with this, more I thought about it - more it makes sense. We just can't go 4231 anymore - pointless until next season.People need to remember that a lot of the games with three CBs earlier this season had:
- Wilson in goal
- Fadz starting
- No Kitching
- No O'Hare
- No Victor Torp
- Simms on the bench
Now it'll be three settled CBs who look decent most games, Torp, O'Hare and a firing Simms.
I'm trying to remember when we last won at at WBA. I remember being at a game there once when we scored first I think
O'Hare is wank on the wing4-3-2-1? Torp to push forward.
Collins
MVE - Thomas - Kitching - Bidwell
Eccles - Torp - Kelly
O-hare - Wright
Simms
I'd agree except his early appearances? If going for a back 3, I would have Thomas, Kitching and Binks. Sorry but Lati is a utility player in my eyes and not 'brilliant' at any position. Useful on the bench if anything happens to one of the back 3 or midfield though
His best position is central defence and I think he is better than Binks. If going for a back 3, I would have Thomas, Kitching and Binks. Sorry but Lati is a utility player in my eyes and not 'brilliant' at any position. Useful on the bench if anything happens to one of the back 3 or midfield though
Yup, FA Cup 3rd round replay in 1995. Remember being stood in wedge of terrace in the corner (as they were redeveloping the Hawthorns) and going bonkers for both our late goalsWe beat them in the cup around 1996 time. Ndoluv scored a late winner. It was a night game
O'Hare is wank on the wing
My last visit. Due to go on Friday.Yup, FA Cup 3rd round replay in 1995. Remember being stood in wedge of terrace in the corner (as they were redeveloping the Hawthorns) and going bonkers for both our late goals
If only we had Fadz available to boss the defence.Prepare to be disappointed lads because the wing back system is back and will be for the remainder of the season due to the Tats injury

Until we get to play the match? We gonna get well turned over there
Leon Best scored twice and Mifsud twice I thinkWe beat them 4-2 in a mid week game, I think Dowie might have been manager and Mifsud was influential in our win.
Maybe my old age but I’m sure we won a night game there with Wegerle scoring
