Eccles is getting a lot of flak tonight but Sheaf seems well of the pace , wonder if his ankle is still playing him upgenerally he’s an all round decent player but put him and Sheaf in the team together and we miss some creativity in there, they do the same or similar, the ‘boring stuff’ - fine when needed but you can see the spark is missing
needs one or the other, and I would say Sheaf is the better player
taking this game in isolation I think the ‘own goal’ has affected him, I did hope he’d come out and score / set one up but doesn’t look like that and maybe it’s still on his mind - maybe Lampard tells him at half time to forget it and it works, maybe he brings him off because the two don’t offer much together, we will see…

We need better delivery from the corners, we've had plenty of set plays but not threatened enough.Think we just need to be quicker with our passing and movement.
