tickets on sale today for season ticket holders to get Theo seats before they are released tomorrow for general sale.

Doesn't seem long? Considering Theres still plenty of non ST seats available strange its so short.

Reckon we can beat the Pompey attendance and break the lowest record crowd again anyone?

Wonder if the season ticket card thing will work......soon find out!

I'm not going to this one, could be a quid to go and I'd still not. I don't agree with development sides being entered into the cup that's aimed for league one and two sides to compete for s final at Wembley. Happy to go watch v Accrington Hartlepool or Bolton... Not West Ham.
I only hope low attendances up and down the country put a stop to the trial for next yeat

£10 for adults too much money as far as I'm concerned why have they put everything up robbing bastards.[/QUOTE

Plus the £1 booking fee which doesn't seem to be charged on the gate unless I am reading it wrong so book early pay more:banghead:

Is quite pricey for what the cup is now; a joke.
Don't like the new format at all but I'll still go.

Have I read it right that there is no booking fee on the night so it's a pound cheaper

They couldn't pay me to go to this game, it's a disgrace that we are being forced to play West Ham youngsters

Joke of a competition now. Every league 1 and 2 side should boycott the games and they will soon change it back to its rightful place.

I won't be going to any game of the competition. Nor should anyone.

Thing is, most league one and two teams must have voted for the system, so why would they boycott? didn't we as a team vote yes?

Won't be going to any games in this competition until all the U23 teams are out. Only possibly exception is the final if an U23 side play one from a L1/2. I'll stand with the L1/2 fans and hope others do the same to fill that half. Everyone wears their own team's colours too. Would make a statement especially if the other end is half empty.

Maybe they did. I honesty don't know.

Still doesn't make it right does it SW88?

I quite like the premier league kids being in it. Gives it an extra element. The problem for me is the group stage set up

Doesn't make what right? That the competition was changed (in a trial basis) due to the majority vote? I'd say that does make it right :D

I'm not a fan but if the vote was cast and more people said yes than no, what would have been the point of the vote if they didn't go with it?

with it only being a trial I think the new format will soon prove to be a poor one and it'll revert back to the old way next season

Because the clubs may have voted, and the fans haven't. It's one of the things that gripe me most about football, this view that owners and players are the club and fans are almost bystanders. It's very simple, without paying fans footbal is nothing more than a hobby. I'd bet my house that if fans had of been given a vote it would have been a massive no. Haven't read a positive view from a fan yet.

The problem is thr clubs didn't know 5-6 of the biggest clubs were going to withdraw. I've seen comments from a couple of chairman who's said they'd have never of voted for it had they known they would withdraw.

Think I'm going to give this game a miss on principle, but I will definitely attend the other JPT home games

A tenner to watch someone's academy is farcically

This is one cup I would agree we should play the kids in and not pick up injuries. no chance of Chelsea, Utd or city bringing their millionaires in the next round!!

I don't care if we pulled a big club and they don't play their best players. I go to games to watch the game. It is a small bonus to see top players. But I would prefer to go through to the next round than to see overpaid players on the pitch.

I think we're at crossed purposes I am just saying this is the cup I would take least seriously and rest players for. Also millionaires don't impress be but it's hard to deny they are the names that would fill the Ricoh and consquently boost our income stream. FA then league then this cup for me
