The West End was the place to be in the 70's if you were young and didn't mind having a scrap with opposing fans.
Looking back it was madness but you had to stand your ground, but when all the City fans were in there the atmosphere was great. The Spion Kop was good also before then as it was a proper section of the ground, kids at the front and older blokes further up. great days !

through the West End,

It was the opposite end to the West end on a rainy day - due to there being no roof covering.
