I've read this site for a long time but never posted before because I cant always get internet access and tbh there's lots of arguments about acl and sisu and I don't know which I side I belong on lol! I can understnad that ffp means the club needs to own the Ricoh and acl seem like clowns but I wouldn't trust sisu to look after my dog never mind a stadium. The reason I decided to post something was because it seems to me fans are just not doing anything. I went to the Trust meeting and it was a complete waste of time. The bloke who is against the council was there talking about voting againbst Anne Lucas and fair play to him but to be fair I don't see that will really work. Last year there were protests in London and all sorts but now there seems to be nothing. Surely on the hill against Wolves people should have sisu out or acl out banners. On here today there is a thing about a meeting at the squirel tomorrow so how about turning up there with banners. Just seems to me there's lots of talk about doing things but nothing is happening.
Did you speak up at the meeting Joe??

when that's the response it makes me realise why I've never posted before and dont think I'll bother.

It's not that bad Joe, everyone is frustrated and no one is 100% sure what the right thing to do is.
Well you are very welcome to join us on the Hill on Saturday.
We are meeting in the Sixfields pub at 2pm ( this is a Coventry City only pub) and next to the hill.
lets all just make love ...no ....wrong forum
This is a copy of a message that has been circulated to Wolves fans ..............
2002/2003 Sun 09 Mar Southampton 2 - 0 Wolves F.A. Cup was another away day that has lasted 11 years. After being a regular at the Mol. (season ticket for 10 years, South bank SL2 row M). On that day I met a girl from the new forest area. We are now married with 4 beautiful children. Although I don’t get to the Mol as much as I’d like nowadays after opting to move down south, I do go to a few. This season has been another amazing journey, and one which will be celebrated in the final games of the season. Firstly away at Coventry City FC. Well not quite !!!. In fact in Northampton. If you need to see how a club should be, and should not be run, take a look at Wolves and Coventry. I appreciate and am grateful of supporting a well-run club. Glad I’m not in the same boat as those. My only request is that we show the world of football that we to can support football of all levels. I am asking that any fellow Wolves supporters can show some support on the away day at NORTHAMPTON by holding banners “KEEP CCFC IN COVENTRY”. This will show the world of football that we are all “ONE COMMUNITY” And above all, lets party……….Enjoy !!!
Joe I do feel for you, as fans we are all in the same boat no matter the line you stand on. Problem is however the fans do not hold any of the cards in this situation, out of the pack of 52 we hold a Joker and that's not helpful.
It sounds as if we can only pin most of our hopes on Sisu doing the right thing morally and bringing the Club home, but morales aren't the reason we are in Northampton it's about a business and it's financial capabilities, even though the financial short term is painful as Joy Seppala stated to Les Reid "Sisu's investors are willing to take the short term hit to see long term results" the question is will there be any fans to see the results in the end?
Martin Kelman's idea hasn't been relatively bad, but as I said on the other thread regarding that subject, if Martin Kelman is serious Mr Kelman needs to speak to the Club, maybe they will listen? Maybe they won't? You don't know until you try - or that's what I was always told! - and if Martin Kelman doesn't try talking to the Club what sort of response is he looking for?

Its the SCG meeting tonight (Thur, 6.30)) at the Squirrel, more crap from our supposedly fan representatives.
Who is going on hill Saturday, last game, just wish it was our very last ever game at Shitfiels.
Some of the hill people also sit on the SCG. Must be great being as simple as you you are, not a care in the world. 100% certain over everything.
How is the experience now at Sixfields, have they improved your seating yet and what about the refreshments? Need to get this right ready for August.
Great seats thanks, brilliant view. Have enjoyed some great wins this season. Glad I made the effort. How about you? Still moping around wishing SISU would disappear?
No, not moping, that stopped near end of August last year when I had other things to get on with thanks just like many, many other fans of Coventry City. Develop a backbone and try it.
As for wishing SISU would disappear, cant wait, look forward to the day but all im interested in is watching Coventry play in Coventry regardless of whom owns us at that time, sorry to piss on your fire.

Like most people, no moping for me. Re-discovered my love of fishing and cycling, amongst other things, on a Saturday afternoon.
Do wish that this situation could be sorted out though, as I would like to go and see my team play in the city that bears their name. Don't think I will ever get a season ticket again though. I am having too much fun doing other things to tie myself to a business that patently does not care for it's customers one iota.
And before you jump down my throat, that attitude will not change now whoever owns the club, or whoever is at fault for this mess.
