Zimbabwe cricketer who helped Sussex win their first county championships - IMO he was one of a group of players who could have made the Zimbos a competitive side, but off-field problems drove a whole generation of players out of the side : http://www.espncricinfo.com/zimbabwe/content/player/55456.html
A team with him, Neil Johnson, the Flower brothers, Heath Streak and a bunch of others in support (Ali Campbell, Guy Whittall, Paul Strang) as senior pros would have been great when Zimbabwe produced a second batch of good youngsters, like Blignaut, Ervine, Taibu, Williams and Friend, who were themselves forced into retirement///
I think one concern is that Murray really struggled last season and more than one Sussex fan said that they thought his eye had gone. Aussies have been saying the same about Marcus North, so it could be up to the likes of Bragg, Rees and Wright to rediscover some form with the bat. Bowling looks decent, though-Hogan is one hell of a coup, a more than adequate signing to replace Harris. Although you do now have more Australians than Welshmen! Young tweaker Andrew Salter is one who could redress the balance, definitely one to watch and possibly the heir to Crofty's spin crown.
Good luck to former Bears Graham Wagg and Nick James for the new season!
Dunno what the OP's playing at, but any chance to talk cricket is good as far as I'm concerned.
Katich and Prince in Division 2...that's just not fair! Rest of the Lancs batting is a bit fragile, mind you. Although Horton's pretty solid. Always does well against Warwickshire.
