Sparks would be great fun!! Still going? If so it might well be a very good call.
New Order would be fab. Would absolutely love that.
Not me! That sounds like a right old wet lettuce-faced dweeb. Are you sure :emoji_thinking:I thought you were one of those sharpening your Tofu stick.
In that case I apologise Sir, and may your next Sausage be especially meaty :emoji_blush:Not me! That sounds like a right old wet lettuce-faced dweeb.
Give me a raw pigs liver any day and wrap it up in blood soaked entrails for good measure.
Vegetarianism, pah!! I fart in its general direction.
I'd turn up for that, if it was free of courseFriday night The Police.
Saturday night The Stone Roses
Sunday afternoon Madonna
What a festival.
Yeah, shame about Tom Petty and Bob Dylan isn't it."The Traveling Wilburys" on a Sunny Sunday evening would be special, though some
Of the main players are no longer with us.
Ha Ha. Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers would be good, as would Blondie.Yeah, shame about Tom Petty and Bob Dylan isn't it.
I used to love Longpigs. Whatever happened to them? I also used to really like Doves and Hard Fi too.Oasis, pulp, blur and stone roses with super grass, shed seven, Mansun, longpigs supporting.....
Joking aside I would love to see shed seven headlining! My first live band and still probably my favourite band!
Just checking but you are aware of the fact that close on 190,000 people paid the sum total of fuck all to attend Godiva last weekend, yes?Don't worry about the foo fighters and Arctic Monkeys, we would much rather watch a bunch of washed up has beens:emoji_rolling_eyes:
Predictions : Grendel - Marillion.
Houch - Bob Dylan.
Otis - XTC.
Yes I know they do well to get what they do, but it's hardly Radio 1's big weekend.Just checking but you are aware of the fact that close on 190,000 people paid the sum total of fuck all to attend Godiva last weekend, yes?

Muse,Arctic Monkeys and Foo fighters aimed at 14 year olds? So you'd rather have bands like the Darkness over the Foo fighters, you must be joking.Thank goodness its not. Full of bands and singers aimed at under 14's who come on stage, shout and wave, do two songs and leave.

The only real bad year was when they had Rihanna and Jay-Z in 2012. The rest of the time you at least get one good headliner over the weekend. That was a one off with Arctic Monkeys etc. You're much more likely to get 1 direction, Rita Ora and whoever else come out of Simon Cowell's bowels this month.

Don't know Body Count. Who are they?Something for Everyone
Sex Pistols, Body Count, Slade, Depeche Mode, but no place for UB40 or Dexy's
They are on in Coventry, rialto I thinkSurprised Aswad have never played Govida.
I sell some of my vinyl now and then and sold Present Arms by UB40 double album to a customer for a tenner. He was made up as he was looking for it for ages. I told him it had scratches on but he wasn't bothered. Also sold two albums to a mate he got a bargain as one was Rumours by Fleetwood Mac,as he's a friend he got that classic also for £10.00. I'm too soft !Don't know Body Count. Who are they?
Dexy's are okay, though I totally and utterly loathe Come on Eileen.
Yeah, UB40.... oh dear. They are to reggae music as Boney M are to prog rock.
