Yes they repeat his show on Thursday. He liked my question, and he like you has Aladdin Sane framed on his wall. I asked him a few months ago what band would he have liked to be in other than Thunder ?Hey BBR ( Kevin !!!) I heard that bit on the repeat Danny Bowes show - amazed my wife by saying I reckon he would go with Aladdin Sane !
Not at all I find it quite funny,Music and politics shouldn’t meet in my view.I've got to ask as I know you're a royalist, do you skip Elizabeth my dear?
I have this one as well - bought it from a secondhand shop in Hampton maybe in 1970 ish for 50p could not have been out long - we had two shops that we would cruise on a regular basis - some choices were pot luck because they wouldn’t play the records and we had no idea if we were going to like the music - I remember picking up the first Rory Gallagher album - was a real bonusIn search of Space by Hawkind as I have the original limited edition cover which opens out like a Hawk - and has a albeit blurred photo of Stacia dancing around totally naked
Yes 1pm. Not sure which Rockblock they chose as I sent in 2. No matter I made sure I chose some cracking tracks !Good stuff getting the rock block on BBR - is it on before the match ?
Going to be some day Saturday. Got my Rockblock, then hope for a City win, and at night my ex boxer mate is top of the bill fighting in a charity event. A long day !Good stuff getting the rock block on BBR - is it on before the match ?

Went there a few times. Also saw The Mission perform there. I loved the place not too big, not too small, bit like the General Wolfe pub.great venue the Hummingbird.

Yep 30th anniversary of that album. Shame they are not coming anywhere local really. Seen them lots of times over the years and most recently at the Leamington assembly rooms a couple of years ago, but yes I agree, never the same with out Adamson.Big Country now doing a Steeltown tour sadly of course without Stuart Adamson - General Wolfe now there’s a venue where much enjoyment happened when I live in Coventry in the early 80s
That was my favourite venue years ago. Saw loads of decent gig there in the early 90sgreat venue the Hummingbird.
