Watched it when I got in from the match last night. I worked out that a lot of my favourite albums came from 1991.....WHAT A YEAR!
BBC - 19 albums that define 1991
Classic records celebrating their 30th birthday in 2021 - from Nirvana to De La Soul.www.bbc.co.uk
Three suggestions.Lots of alternative 90s rock. 11 year old had suddenly decided she loves Greenday and wants more recommendations. She’s also bought a pair of 90s style baggy jeans. Told me chain wallets are back too. Gonna be a good decade.
Three suggestions.

I wish her well on her musical journey.
My first real real love was The Jesus and Mary Chain, which led me onto the Velvet Underground and away I went. all over the place.
Don't EVER tell her that 'Music was better in my day'. That's bollocks. Music is music, and whatever floats your boat and gets you bopping is a good thing.
Idles.
Really nice piece. If you're like me and love this sort of music, then I recommend searching on YouTube for Ludovico Einaudi. His piano playing is mesmerising! Have a listen to his album, "Le Onde". Fabulous. Another favourite of mine is a Japanese pianist called Yiruma. Another blissful piano sound! One of the most beautiful pieces of music I've ever heard. Brings me close to tears whenever I listen to it.

No doubt I'm wrong, But I have a complete aversion to Van Morrisson.
I was just talking about this song the other day when back on the Isle of Wight for a few days. An old friend of mine was talking about the state of the world etc, etc and I said that there were songs from years ago that reflected the same issues we have today. Remember also, Don't Let It Die by Hurricane Smith?
