And there was yet another band called Jo Jo Gunn who had a hit with Run Run Run years ago.Bloody Hell BBR! I'd forgotten all about these! Just downloaded their you tube video of Race With The Devil!
There's also a couple of good versions of that song by Judas Priest and Girlschool.Bloody Hell BBR! I'd forgotten all about these! Just downloaded their you tube video of Race With The Devil!

They sound a bit like the Waterboys with a bit of modular synth borrowed from Prince.I only discovered this band last week and have been obsessed ever since.
That's a brilliant compilation album. Neil Young is a legend. And also a double CD by Neil Young titled : Decade. Featuring tracks like Heart Of Gold , Cinnamon Girl, Like A Hurricane, After The Gold Rush and many more. Neil Young still performing in his 70's.
Spunk Rock !Going to see Man tonight - if anybody remembers the album Maximum Darkness !
They were in Pershore ? Is that in Worcester ?Going to see Man tonight - if anybody remembers the album Maximum Darkness !
Yes - sadly I didnt make it as I was off colour but I will be at the match tomorrow - quite a few old bands go to that venueThey were in Pershore ? Is that in Worcester ?
Love Like A Man was played recently on Planet Rock. Great track.Been listening to a bit of Ten years After. Alvin Lee was a superb guitarist. Unfortunately they didn't really have strong enough lyrics. I'd love to change the world is a decent track. One for bbr and houch.
Great album for me is Ten Years After recorded live - Good morning little school girl , one of these daysLove Like A Man was played recently on Planet Rock. Great track.
Just a few miles from me BBR. Me and 'er indoors often nip across to Pershore. Lovely little place. They were in Pershore ? Is that in Worcester ?
One of my favourites, Henry! Those and Spooky Tooth! I had Spooky Tooth's album with the most insane title! "You Broke My Heart, So I Busted Your Jaw!" Also reminded me of Captain Beefheart. And then of course, my favourite album of that era was King Crimson's "Court of the Crimson King", which I still have. Brilliant gatefold sleeve!Been listening to a bit of Ten years After. It's nice here Clint, but when you have really dodgy knees and a dicky ticker like me, maybe moving to Malvern wasn't the smartest of ideas! :emoji_tired_face:spent the night in Worcester last Saturday H. My mate has a static by the Severn, nice part of the world, very relaxing spending time by the river doing nothing but sipping a glass of wine.
I am sure I mentioned it last year I went to see KC in Brum at the theatre - really struggled with some of it - 21st Schizoid Man was the hilight - also it was too loud - I don’t normally complain but I am sure my ears were about to bleed !One of my favourites, Henry!
