Here's my stab at a guess:
MK Dons Parasitic Bastards 1500
Burton 2000
Rugby 3000
Birmingham City 4500
Northampton 3000
Can't think of anywhere where we'd average more than 4,500. I'm not including away fans either. I'm basing all of this on a season similar to this one in terms of results . Can't be arsed with any other grounds as it's too depressing.
I bet Tim Fisher would have us down for no less than 10,000 anywhere.
Did the club subsidise travel or tickets previously? That would impact attendances but probably the playing budget also....which in turn would affect attendances!
no, it was very poor, despite being promised the opposite. I am sure they have learnt from that.
opportunity for them to learn from that.
Throw on free coaches for the first 5 games and ask for a donation on the coach to the jimmy hill trust etc.
the owners should play on the good will they are winning this time
Are you getting a commission, the amount of time you are promoting it.Depends where it is.
I can see iFollow doing well.

To be honest id probably forgive them not doing so if there was some decent dialogue with the fans to explain what the money had gone towards instead. The lacks of comms from them in the past has been a large part of the toxic relationship. I very much agree that an offer to help with costs would be well received though.

the money they will spend on coaches, they will save elsewhere surely ?. Police, match day staff etc
Maybe. It would be difficult to know for sure but more ticket, merchandise and food sales would go some way to offsetting the costs yeah.
Promoting people being able to watch their team, I know it's a weird concept to you being more interested in Cov Utd.
would be great if the club could negotiate with ifollow to legally be able to pay for "home" games. some revenue to be made
Doubt Sky would allow it
I reckon most of the pubs would get onto it though knowing there is more of a market.
No idea tbh but it will be important whatever they decide to do, could have a major impact on any relationship they want with the fans.suspect it will be more about the savings than the additional spends. Surely there are savings to be made in a 7k stadium than a 32k one ?

I hope they crack down on people streaming ifollow over facebook depriving the club of revenue.
When did we have our own ground? 2004? We make £100k a year from non ticket sales at the Ricoh whereas London Wasps make £2m form us. If we make a small portion of the non ticket sales income up we could be in a not to dissimilar position to now financially.your right, the club lose revenue. no where near as much as leaving Coventry and not having their own ground
We've taken two big followings to MK . One of them was a very good league attendance when we won 3-1. Then there was the F.A. cup match. We would have taken 8000 anywhere for that game given the round we were in. Between the two we took much less to a league game near the start of the season.I think you can double most of those inc away fans. Why would we take 1500 to MK yet to 4 times that to MK away games in the past ?
The inertia / feeling this time is different.
More People will go either because they feel this time is different or because they feel there is no point fighting external factors and will just go and support the team
If we ground share it will cost us support and money and we can’t afford either and neither can sisu. It will also cost us the baulk of what looks like a team with potential, probably our manager too.

If we're not going to get big crowds, is the Butts a possibility with some temporary seating? What could it realistically get to? Perhaps we could buy that and they could share the Ricoh with Wasps ….
It wasn't, the Council wanted to put a clause to do so in the lease but the idea was rejected out of hand. Not 100% but pretty sure a professional football ban was imposed on the stadium, make of that what you will.

I’d speculate on the following figures
MK Dons 2000 - 2500/5000 with away following
Northampton 3000/4500 - 5000/7000
Walsall 2500 - 3000/5000
Birmingham 3500/4500 - 4000/6000
Rugby or Nuneaton 2500-4000 - 5000

Why would more away fans go to Northampton than Birmingham? Northampton's maximum away capacity is 1,350 while St Andrews could fit up to 6,000 if needed.
