There is a notification, just set it subscribe (at the bottom)to instant and it will email you when somebody replies

A couple of Private members only forums, where when you reach a certain post count or are accepted by the admin then you can see.

A few decent stickies for matchday live update links.

A photo section where people can post their own photos of a game (using imgshack or similar to save bandwith)

Just a few off the top of my head.
