No extra money put in to finance team is the bottom line. SISU took over the remaining debts and spent further by financing the wages and overheads not covered by turnover.

So we'll say roughly £8mill on transfer fees

£500k on jazzing up Ryton,

Paying off Dowie, Coleman and Boothroyd. Plus any backroom staff

Signing on bonus's for players on a free, new managers and backroom staff.

Doesnt seem like it'll add up to £30mill though

Surely we have blown several million on board members, who have no love or affinity to the club, who have been brought in as experts/consultants at bringing in investment to the club.

First i would want a refund as they have been uesless, leeches who habe bled the club dry, and secondly isnt that what SISu do anyway so thats them basically admitting they are cr*p at what they do.

To see how much the club is wasting on such freeloading wastes of space, I wonder if SISU would be as honest to see how much Doolally is being paid to be our chairman, as oppoesed to the nothing he has put back in to the club.

This is where it starts to get grey, did they wipe it out or is it part of the 40 mill we are supposedly in debt by now?

Apparently our previously main benefactor walked away from millions owed to him, did he or is part of the 40 mill we now owe?

Did we have to pay a certain amount to ensure the club got their hands on the right to purchase a stake in the Ricoh from the Higgs charity?#

What end of season losses have posted, I am sure that we posted 8 million one year and then a couple of 4 millions....

There were football related debts to clear up, remember we had a transfer embargo on us at the time and there was the Inland Revenue and VAT to sort out. I believe Ryton was done on a mortgage so thats on going, but as said £30million ??. Although the wages of Dowie, Coleman and Boothroyd would seriously add up, i bet all three were on a million+ a year

SISU took on the debt from the banks and Richardson's agreed amount which totalled some 26m.
SISU hold that debt....not any bank. (hence the admin thing is difficult to see happening)
They pumped in money on various stuff including player dealings and the training facility and have continued to fund the club as revenue is not enough to cover the running cost - known as the 500k a month we all hear quoted - though that is down to nearer 250k a month now.

A good cup run would fill the coffers and break that even in the short term but we already went out the league cup!

I can't blame them for not throwing money they don't have freely available in todays financial scenario at a club that has no assets of note to secure it on. They do however fail to see that some investment in playing staff is desperately needed or league 1 will in turn only ensure the club they own, will lose even more revenue and be less attractive to buyers or investors.

The Ricoh 50% share of ACL operating company is a vital part of the next phase to increase earnings but no one seems to want to stump up the money for the option to buy in. Understandable in the current climate as the returns would be long term.
So they will talk with investors and buyers like Hoffman but they will not simply walk away from the now 30m plus of debt they are holding and see the probable acquisition of the ACL 50% share option go to the new owners without being made an offer that includes some sort of 'refund' for them. Cash obviously bring a more spirited response but there are many ways to skin a cat....

So SISU will keep going losing a mere 250k+ a month and hold the player assets (maybe sell one or two if the income streams from a cup run don't materialise or shockingly low attendances at the Ricoh happen)
I would urge all true supporters to get up the Ricoh - a few extra thousand will make a lot of difference. So too would the improvement of the side that will improve gate receipts. Success on the pitch means more success off it.

Hoffman's mucking around simply delays any action or thought that SISU have of throwing in a bit of investment we need right now for a player or two. So Hoffman get on with it, make a reasonable, formal offer and above all show them the colour of your money that will ensure we would indeed be better off with you and not SISU because if you take it on you could easily not invest enough and you really could then put us in admin quicker than we could shout "Get SISU back!"

Out the frying pan and into the fire springs to mind. :facepalm:

So Paxman, are saying that Brody's claim of Ranson wasting 30 million is nto correct?

Well i don't think gate receipts make a lot of differenve at the moment, take away season tickets and we are left with less than 3/4000 plus away supporters, SISU will have done the forecasts for each game and there are only about 3 or 4 guaranteed "big" gates left, West Ham, Birmingham, Leeds plus a Boxing Day fixture, the rest i would guess between 12k to 15k

Well it seems like they have put £5M or so in & are holding all the debt (ouch), but we know most of that money was from RR's company and the rest has been obtained as a loan using next years season ticket sales as collateral.
