It won't all be up front I don't think anyway so it won't be one big payment going out.
We have also paid for:
Hiwula
Dexter Walters from Tamworth
Bosma
I think the last 2 would just be pretty much gesture payments.
Potential fees of upto or maybe slightly over a million .
You could say he’s been backed as opposed to a lot of managers in the last few seasons
Looking at it now , bakayoko wasn’t needed with JCH , biamou and hiwulu who by the way I think could be a really good player for us in his preferred position , and now ChaplinYeah probably is about a million or so when they are all paid.
Rumours Ive seen:
Hiwula: <£150k
Bakayoko: £70k rising to £200k with add one
Chaplin: £500k
The rest: a few tens of thousands, maybe 1/4 mill between them
Ogogo: >£100k signing on fee
So around £1m plus other signing bonuses, plus wage increases to existing squad. So arguably circa £1.5m being generous.
Outgoing rumours:
McNulty: £1.2m rising to £1.5m with add one
Madders: 10-15% of a £22m fee so around £2.2-3m
So £3.5-4m in and £1.5m + operating costs of around £2m a season out.
Seems about right to me.
Got to say, this summer is the first in a while I've felt like a supporter of an actual football club and not like someone watching a loved one on life support. Long may it continue.
Where do you get £400k up front for Mcnulty? You do realise we’d only in terms of up front payments we will only have have around £400k for mcnulty?
Also no one knows the terms of the Maddison deal and it’s highly likely the extra fee is payable over three or four seasons?
What is the biggest threat to a business like ours would you say?

Biggest threat as always is players, they are all ambitious and looking to better themselves and why not. While we are in division 3 hanging on to our better players can be tough as we seen with the McNulty transfer. You do realise we’d only in terms of up front payments we will only have have around £400k for mcnulty?

I think if we’re being fair we have to give them some credit. They have backed Robins we just need to get going now.Are we giving SISU some credit as they continue to back the club the right way since MR's came in?
Not while we have this on going court case still unresolved, Wasps have been quite clear that our current deal to play at the Ricoh is the last one while the legals sexist. So if the they haven’t been sorted where do we play ? I see nowhere locally suitable for a division 1/ championship football club. Are we giving SISU some credit as they continue to back the club the right way since MR's came in?

I know we've had plenty of money come in but it's a decent spend by the club in my opinion. Still would have liked to see some spent on a keeper.
People might be surprised at how football transfers are structuredYou do realise we’d only in terms of up front payments we will only have have around £400k for mcnulty?

Not sure it calls for the brown nosing. Are we giving SISU some credit as they continue to back the club the right way since MR's came in?
It's not SISU anywayNot sure it calls for the brown nosing.
We have pretty much spent the McNulty money, credit should really go to whoever recruited him and then negotiated when he forced the move to get as much as possible

Yes but this would be the same for transfer fees going out wouldn’t it so not really sure if your point? You do realise we’d only in terms of up front payments we will only have have around £400k for mcnulty?

I guess that's the planI think it shows that this kind of spending should warrant a push for promotion.
We shouldn't be flirting with the bottom end of the table come the end of the season really.

*Sigh* even with him on ignore I know what comment you're replying to.
His point is the same it always is, a sad desperate attempt to score points because he's incapable of contributing to a conversation normally. Sadly at his age it's probably too late for him to learn.
