Reminds me of these women that are recording themselves crying after the US election saying they won't sleep with a man for the next four years as a result of it.

Funnily enough, none of those I've seen doing it look like they'll have a problem avoiding sexual interest.

Plus more women voted for Trump this time round than before - silly bints

It is embaressing, some of those posts were probably done by the youth the embaressing part is the potential that grown men could have posted some of that shit.

But the boycott next home post, if I'm being honest here, it's fucking valid,

number 1 after everything Robins has done for us, there's not been 1 fucking word from anyone at the club to thank him, the way it has been handled in general in my opinion has lacked any respect.

The principle of boycotting a home game might come across rather toxic, but it shows solidarity to a man that lifted us up from the ground on a shoestring budget, countless days out at Wembley and a penalty kick away from Wembley. Doug King has done nothing in comparison to what Mark Robins has.

And lastly a boycott of the home game is a fucking loud and proud way of saying thank you to the players, thanks for destroying something great, thanks for being bottlejobs, thaks for having no fight and that's for being spineless.

I'm all for a one off home game boycott tbh.

Boycott, really after all the shit we’ve been through, he’s sacked a manager because results and performances haven’t been good enough, guessing luton aren’t far off doing the same and he actually got them promoted, everyone’s a bit pissed off but we don’t need that, could turn out to be the right decision, doesn’t need a boycott to show robins what we think of him, he already knows that and I doubt that’s what he’d want, everyone’s a bit gutted but it’s done,

Most of these posters have been anti Doug from the off.
Moan about him not spending all of his money, accuse him of being a Sisu puppet.
Not sure what they know that we don't?

The OTT reaction of some who's past comments suggest they were on the fence at best, and that's giving the benefit of the doubt, are a bit strange.
Ya didn't saddle criticise him all the time and now he's sacked it's the worst thing of all time?

Its like the 5 stages of grief.

Couple of wins on the bounce before and we'll be at Acceptance.
Shock-WTF
Denial- Nah its fake news
Anger-Fuck you Doug
Fear-What if all our progress comes undone?
Bargaining-We won't boycott if you bring Robins back.
Acceptance-well it had to come an end sometime

The majority of fans on this forum were emotionally affected by the sacking of Robins. Which is entirely understandable, given the journey we’ve been on with him, and how desperately we wanted him to finish the job and reach the PL.

Anyone who wasn’t affected emotionally by the sacking, I would recommend a clinical screening for psychopathy.

People will say and do outlandish things when the part of the brain that deals with emotion is in overdrive - the amygdala. I would imagine that the emotional responses on social media are simply people venting, which, we all need to do. Granted, social media isn’t the ideal place to do it, but there we are.

It just makes them different to you, not worthy of scorn or belittling. Give it a few weeks, and they’ll be onto the acceptance stage. 👍🏻

Saying they deserve to be broken and tormented is very odd to be honest

People say things they don't mean when they're angry .. let's not pretend that you haven't said something upsetting to somebody when you're annoyed mate .

I get that we are on social media and everybody is perfect and straight down the line

You are showing a very considerate and soft side on here today, fair play.

I think his comments were wild to the point they were extremely funny. However, I imagine in person they are far more together and it’s just an emotional response. In all honesty I know a few people that have responded in a similar way!
