Crewe Alexandra fans singing 'we want 4' with 15 minutes remaining.

Absolutely laughable effort from the team

I had fallen asleep by then.

We will stay up but only through other results not by our own ability.

Yet another massive og today, ticket offer, good size crowd but aomeone forgot to tell the team the game was 90 not 22 minutes

Such disillusionment and failure
Only potentially saved through the failure of four other teams
Even the removal of SISU and the incumbents they entrust with the Club I fear cannot hold me any further
The Butts Park Arena for me next season
A team for Coventry run by Coventarians aiming to Progress upwards

SAD

3 moments summed things up for me today.

1. Proschwitz giving away a stupid, needless free kick, that led to their second goal. Absolutely no need to make such a challenge and we have been doing that all season long. Bad decision making.

2. Nouble. In a great position in the 2nd half, in their 6 yard box, on the byline and it cried out for a cross, but he shot from an impossible angle and the chance was gone. Once again, bad decision making, this time from when we were in a great position and again this has been happening all season, with Nouble the main culprit.

3. Martin. In the 2nd half, under no pressure and with a simple back pass to Burge being called for, he elected to hoof the ball into touch and give away a needless throw in.

All season long we have been making the wrong decisions and now I also think we all realise that this squad totally lacks backbone. If we survive this, a big cull is needed, and I mean a BIG cull.

We need players made of sterner stuff. We started off really well today, but as soon as we went a goal down, resorted to playing school boy football.

I have no problem with 3) he was running towards goal and was being closed down, would rather a defender put into touch than fanny about with it.

I disagree Stu and agree with Benno and Eakin. He had plenty of time to pass that back to Burge. The opposition player was about 5 yards away.

Totally agree with everything said, Martin has to do that as he's not good enough to read the game and see what's going on, it worked at Peterborough because we were 1-0 up and hoofing it over the stands worked, but 3-1 down and trying to get back into the game exposes what skill level he is at.
Nouble is lazy and not a team player, he actually sliced the shot from the impossible angle, whereas the Crewe player got the ball in the same area and cut it back for there goal.
Also thought Burge was very poor today and felt he could have done better on all of there goals, was poor on crosses and has struggled all season with his distribution. There keeper made some good saves when called upon and showed how a keeper should distribute the ball to areas his team could build on.
