1.6 is usually ok for play off
So would need 56 or 22 points from 13 games
Even logically your numbers are far too high
Depends what the new variant does to hospitalisations.... hopefully its as mild as reported and this blows over.
Vast majority will be triple jabbed in a few weeks too.
If hospitalisations and deaths (particularly among the vaccinated) increase drastically and is at crisis levels. There would then be a case for further restrictions.
Quite a few players have had it in the past
But omicron seems to be re-infecting some who've had past iterations of the virus
Especially if they're unvaccinated
Did all this really start when a chinese person ate a bat? I'm not so sure.....
Brentford manager calling this morning for the whole weekend premier league fixtures to be posponed - Brentford have 13 staff including players gone downCan see it happening. Not to the extent of when this all started but definitely a 3 or 4-week suspension
You could make an argument for a pause over Xmas. Given the stories in the paper clubs that expect a bumper Boxing Day or New Year crowd might not see that anyway. Could they just take two weeks out and add it to the end of the season? As Whitty said this morning, this current wave should only take a few weeks to peak due to the sheer speed and volume of infections.
Doubt many games will be on this weekend and suspect Christmas fixtures will all be postponed tooNot usually doom and gloom but I've never known as many of my friends/colleagues to have Covid at the same time and if that's extrapolated nationwide...
I don't know but I strongly suspect Stoke will try to get it called off if they can
We will be more disadvantaged than most if behind closed doors games come back into play. Having crowds back has increased the tempo at games, which suits our pressing game and I would expect us to slide back into mid table if no fans can attend games.
I suspect the minimum will be behind closed doors for a period of time. A pain but easy to manage and save any chance of season being cancelled.
'Next year, please'People are being too pessimistic
Let's see how it plays out
Chris Whitty has said we'll have better info between Christmas and the New Year
The govt thinks it knows better than Chris Whitty.Nobody really knows though do they, not even the government or Whitty.
Possibly. If that's the case then Nottingham Forest should be equally disadvantaged. Bigger crowds than us and the in form team. I'd have them as nailed on top 6 right now.We will be more disadvantaged than most if behind closed doors games come back into play. Having crowds back has increased the tempo at games, which suits our pressing game and I would expect us to slide back into mid table if no fans can attend games.
Doesn't strike me as an on the Stella at 6am on the train to Morecambe away sort of fellaWhich football team does Chris Whitty support?
