My dad passed away at 76 and I often wish I'd done what you've done. But he preferred watching sport on the telly in his last years, and wouldn't even come to watch the City, and he was a big fan. Fair play to you both though !My dad is 76 and about 8 years ago I decided to take him to as many sporting events that he wanted to go to whole he can
We've been to a gold cup day at Cheltenham
The grand national twice
Twickenham for the all blacks v the barbarians
Murray field to see Scotland v Ireland in the 6 nations
Park head to see Celtic play
An all Ireland Gaelic football final, which is an amazing event to attend
Also an Ulster Gaelic football final
And Hampden to see Celtic in a cup final
He's done well bless him
I know it's not considered a sport but I'd love to watch a wrestle mania just for the actual pomp and ceremony that comes with it
Done that Dave and it was awesome.Boxing day test at the MCG for me.
My second favourite behind the Bernabao, went to watch Australia v India there in a ODI, did the tour a couple of days later aswell, great stadium but I think the only time it is full for cricket is the Ashes.Do it Chief I was lucky enough to be there for the 2010 Test! My favourite stadium in the world and I've been to a fair few!
Did the tour when I was out there for a couple of days working. There was a Sheffield Shield match going on and we saw Steve Waugh get a century. Wasn't much busier than a country championship game.did the tour a couple of days later aswell,
