Must be something more recent.Leicester away in the cup 1999 maybe?
Right. So a fair while ago then.I think it was at Cardiff away in the Championship
Yes, back in the day, when we were trying to have a competitive team. Some people will wonder whether that is a fairy tale now given the current policy of flog anything and replace with old or inexperienced.Right. So a fair while ago then.
The stats will obviously point to the 11 men having the advantage. When the line is trotted out regarding 10 men being harder to beat then eleven I wonder why some teams don't start with 10 to give themselves an advantage.
I remember us playing Everton at HR and Bob Latchford scored a hat trick ...and they had only 10 menDunno Otis. I recall we played Notts Forest years ago (think it was them) at HR...they had TWO sent off and we still couldn't beat them.
When was the last time we won with 11 players !I see other teams go down to 10 and still go on to win.
Maybe it's just an illusion, but it seems that we really suffer once we lose a player to an early bath.
They beat us 6-0 if I recall ?I remember us playing Everton at HR and Bob Latchford scored a hat trick ...and they had only 10 men
1999 against Leicester. When was the last time we won with 11 players !
I think it was Cardiff away in late 2000's?1999 against Leicester.
Bloody hell!!! We not won a game for 17 years?I think it was Cardiff away in late 2000's?
It just feels like we haven't won in 17 years!Bloody hell!!! We not won a game for 17 years?
No wonder angry people are coming on to the pitch with smoking bombs.
I think it was Cardiff away in late 2000's?
That's it.......well remembered! Was that the one where Clarke on loan from Everton I think got sent off In the first minute, they missed a pen & mcsheffery scored a pen for us?
Just weeks after that Charlton at home? Aloisi sent offLeicester away in the cup 1999 maybe?
When was the last time we won with 11 menThe stats will obviously point to the 11 men having the advantage.
I was merely asking when was the last time we won with 10 men. You hear of others clubs winning and I just can't recall when we last did it.
In fact, we tend to capitulate.
I don't think 10 men are harder to beat, but they can be harder to break down, as they tend to go very defensive.
I can't remember the result when Keogh was sent off last game of season. There's surely gotta be a match where we were winning and had a man sent off in the last few minutes which didn't matter.
Can't believe that Cardiff match is the last time.
At least two of our team are only worth half a man so we are already doing it.When the line is trotted out regarding 10 men being harder to beat then eleven I wonder why some teams don't start with 10 to give themselves an advantage.
