Where's the incentive? (1 Viewer)

Having just received my 3rd email of the day from the club (annoying to sy the least), it has struck me that now they have resorted to almost begging us to watch them at Shitfields, why have they not begun communicating directly, either via the local media or the website as opposed to sending this drivel (get your tickets for Gillingham, sign up for hospitality before Friday and get an actual plastic seat)? Time and time again when the hit hits the fan, they swear blind that communication with the fans will improve..it gets worse and worse.

It's obvious that the current trust levels between fans and 'owners' is at rock bottom, but if they genuinely do have the clubs best intentions at heart in the long term (I'm trying not to laugh whilst writing this) why wouldn't they put together a deal where they said for instance 'join us in Northampton for 1 year as a season ticket holder and get 'x' amount off your 1st season ticket in the new imaginary ground'. 2 years and 3 years etc with the saving increasing dependent on the more games which fans attend? There has to be an incentive for us to go to Northampton..no travel, no apology absolutely nothing from Fisher but that ever present smug grin.

A deal such as the above would not only benefit fans in the long run, but most importantly it would put a foundation in place that this ground isn't complete and utter fabrication. I firmly believe that if plans were made public, a spade had been stuck in the ground or that they even come out with a 5 year plan for the club, that there would be an upturn in Shitfields attendances. But...there is no ground so the above is irrelevant.

How Fisher has managed to hold on to this job is beyond me. The man is a walking disaster and things will only begin to improve once he is removed.

Don't worry, Fisher will leave when sisu becomes unhappy with his performance and results.
Same goes for ACL management. They will leave when CCc/Higgs Charity becomes unhappy with their performance and results.

Who do you think will leave first?
It's been a while we had a poll ...

The thing is, I think if their customer service and PR was a lot better then the backlash wouldn't be half as bad even with them moving.

You can have one from a lot other here. Seems they have duplicates to spare.

Which presumably you wouldn't give them anyway, so why moan? I've had two emails today, not three.

Doubt very much things will improve if Fisher is removed. Seppala is the string puller, she'd simply appoint another Gobshite to the post of Minister for Bullshit.

Fisher has been the best Chief Exec this club has had for years. With the problems we have some of the others (Ranson, Fletcher,Clouting etc) would have bailed out sooner than now. he has stuck to the task, IMPROVED customer service at the club despite cost cutting and made the club more fan orientated and friendly.

I fail to see how customer service could gloss over moving the club away from it's home! Though any PR company that could get the fans to accept that the club moving 35 miles away is a good idea would be worth their weight in gold!

Do you have to wait to be asked personally to buy one then?

Last season I was not only personally called twice, but taken around the entire Ricoh footballing side. And I was always going to buy.

Asking for at least the same PR effort when its actually needed seems fair to me.
