If you have 5 quality loans that play all season, that's not so bad. If you have a new signing on loan every 5 minutes, the team is never going to settle and we will constantly be in transition. Plus I just can't get excited about short-term loans who are here for just a few games. It's short-termism, that's what he's getting at, obviously...
