Which ones? Derby stands out, but I'm not sure of the others.
Leicester. We did the double over them. They had a great start that season but went on a slide iirc. Got relegated the following season (Akin-panic-buy was signed around that time). Middlesbrough were poor too. Sunderland. Everton were not a good side at that time either.
You will never forgive him? Really? It's not like he did it on purpose: he's a passionate man - everyone can see that. I'm sure he tried his damnedest. What if he pleaded with you for forgiveness on his knees, would you spurn him still? Walking off to the sound of him weeping 'I'm so sorry...'?
COVENTRY (4-3-1-2): Westwood; Wright, Dann, Turner, Hall; Henderson, Doyle (Beuzelin 59min), Gunnarsson; Eastwood; Morrison, Best. Subs (not used): Marshall, Ward, Osbourne, McPake, Simpson, Thornton.
5-6 of these players played in the prem after leaving Cov
6th should have been a possibility
What game was that? I imagine that it was a 442 with Eastwood playing left wing. Look at the bench. It's shit, nowhere near good enough for 6th. A back 4 containing wright, turner and hall not good enough for too 6, a midfield of then Doyle, boozy and Eastwood not footed enough for top 6. Morrison was on the decline,

Chelsea: Cech, Bosingwa, Terry, Alex, Ashley Cole, Lampard, Mikel (Essien 65), Ballack, Malouda, Drogba (Di Santo 80), Kalou (Quaresma 46).
Subs Not Used: Hilario, Carvalho, Belletti, Mancienne.
So I'd give them some slack
Westwood
Turner
Dann
Gunner
Henderson
Best
good enough for a top six team and all went in to at in the Prem.
That's my point they all weren't at their peak and good enough at the same time. For example turner was what 18-19 still full of mistakes back then, the majority of fans thought he was carol and he didn't show his quality for another 2 years until Boothroyd was here. best 2 didn't hot his peak until the next season. Gunnar was still young and green and having a tricky second season, Henderson was only 18 and only played 10 league games so hardly fair to point to him in terms of the performance of a seasons squad.
Look at the other players in that squad. Skyblue rose tinted spectacles

Elliot ward and Fox were involved in that season as well
Both went in to play in the Prem
A challenge for the top six was definitely a realistic proposition
............Westwood...........
........Ward..Turner..Dann....
J.Clarke. .......................Fox
.............Tabb...Doyle
.
..............Henderson...........
............Best....Morrison.....
So this lot should not have been capable of challenging for sixth?

Nope....for a start Tabb and Henderson never played in the same side, Clarke was 17 years old and isn't a wingback, still no pace no leadership, turner was still a bit of a calamity back then. And you've got 2 strikers who at that time struggled to score much more than 10 goals each. Where would the other goals come from? And who's on the bench?

Coleman I'd say
You must be wrong sounds like he was in charge of a right bunch of Numbnuts who fluked their way into the premiership
Classic
Eh? That makes no sense.
Coleman should above done better 17-19th last day relegation survival was not good enough, but that squad at that time was not good enough for top 6/promotion for all of the reasons I've put.

Bryan Richardson and his money grabbing tactics relegated us! I think a lot went on behind the scenes that Strachan had no control over, this is the man that discovered Boateng, Huckerby, Robbie Keane, Hadji, Chippo etc......Andy Thorn was dog poo and also got us relegated!Starchan by a country mile. He got us relegated with great players and will never be forgiven!!
A million miles Coleman. The 08/09 squad should have walked into the play offs. The squad Strachan took down was shit and finished where expected.
Apparently your a bit mad for thinking that a bunch of players that over half went on to play in the Orem could have finished sixth
"With the best squad". Are you saying that Coleman's squad was better than Strachan's?
