If we play in the box formation next season, would you rather Godden or Gyokeres up front, personally Id prefer Gyok, and just because everyone else is doing it Ill post their stats:

Gyokeres every time. He provides so much more than goals.

He's also not injured for half the season.

Viks all round game is superior .


If we could give viks goddens finishing we'd have a fantasticly gifted footballer on our hands ... he should have scored a closer to 30 this year with the sitters missed

Been a good year either way , I expect him to improve next year be it here or elsewhere

Looking at those stats it’s clear that Vik needs to improve in the air and Godden needs to improve on the ground!

Just had a look myself Gyokeres contests 50% more aerials than Godden per 90 minutes (9 v 6). Is it that he is contesting balls where the % chance of winning them are low, and perhaps godden doesn't bother contesting them and looks for the second ball?

I have no idea, but thought I would throw it out there.

Agree with this. He’s ball for our fourth (I think) against Fulham was quality.

However, if you’re only picking one it would be Vik

Only plays every season 20 odd games which is a shame as great finisher.
