Players are shit
Manager works with shit
SISU don't fund the team

So at the end of the day we are relegation fodder .

End of the day.... Thorn has not been given the players he needed early enough in the season.

If we had Norwood, Nimley and Herman from the start we would have had an extra 6 points at least i reckon.

SISU are/will take this club to L1.

Come on guys the players are good enough to win more than one game away all season FFS. Three more wins away and today would not have made any difference. Its easy to bring the SISU thorn argument in but our p,ayers should have been better than this.

Should have just beaten Peterborough on Saturday and avoided defeat today?

Bristol wont pick up points against Birmingham or West Ham, just a case of whether we have it in us to get at least 4 points from Donny and Burnley and see from there

Thorn, always Thorn, surely?

Peterborough will be the turning point now.

I lay the blame firmly at the SISU's door. With some more investment we would be doing much better in the league, with or without Thorn.

The reality is that SISU have robbed us from the chance to really have this debate. Investment in the playing squad has been so low in comparison with our peers, there's a chance we'll never know if Thorn had it in him to grow into a decent manager, or was growing into a decent manager

An inexperienced manager with good players can make it.
An experienced manager with a bunch that needs motivating and improving stands a chance.
A rookie manager with kids, has-beens and a thin squad. Not a chance

Thorn may leave without us really having the material to make a valued judgement on his tenure....

from what we seen there were 3-4 players who couldn't give a fuck today. Deegan was a disgrace. Who the fuck ever called him the pitball should be embarrsed. This guy is a waste of wagers.

Will we go down? Of course we will go down.... will we have enough players that give a shit. I fuckin hope so. Some players didn't care enough today against a piss porr team such as bristol. How embarrasing for us that they couldnt attempt in fighting for the cause. I doubt some care now.

I am 'pro Thorn' to coin a ridiculous phrase. I have just got back in and am hugely disappointed. We will be playing League 1 football next season. If SISU had been up front with the fans and explicitly stated that we are on a hige cost-cutting mission, that would be one thing. If Thorn had made a few sharper decisions, that would be another thing. If some of the players who have more than one year's experience playing professional football had stepped up that would be a further thing. The thing is that there have been a combination of factors at work and we were not sent down today. It came after an extremely poor season. Gutted and still damp. If the question is 'who is to blame?' and the options are SISU / players / Thorn, I would suggest that it should be looked at in that order. I would embrace a huge clear out; board, players, staff. Not happy.
