I know a lot of people don't think Baker should be captain but at the minute who else is setting an example?
I think sometimes McGoldrick looks like he works hard and maybe could do a job but as he is up front he is away from the play a bit and is a loan player so not sure on how that would look.
Murphy does a lot of shouting which often probably isn't helping anybody.
It's difficult. McGoldrick is a no go for me, no point making him captain only to lose him in January when the loan expires. Do we really have any "leaders" as such who would suit the armband? I thought Kilbane would have been ideal, but his form this season suggests otherwise.
I think Richard wood would make a good captain, been at the a while plays in a good position to give orders out, baker a bit to wide to give advice/ rally up to the other side of the pitch
