Show me where I said it was no different or pipe down.
I was saying the kids are still there and are bothered, there are kids who are still as excited about going to games every week. There are kids nearly wetting themselves with excitement at Christmas parties because they get to meet the players.
Fooking hell lads, you lot argue about nothing!
i never disputed kids dont already go or that they dont already have heroes. i said that last night was great for kids, all smiling etc. and they need more nights like that with big matches, wins, atmosphere etc
please explain how any of the above deserved a reply of invite kids round ya house to watch football on sky?
The bit about how bad it was, yes the 2nd half wasn't the best but we held on which made it good.
It was lower league football on a shit pitch, it was better than other performances and Wycombe looked better than some teams we have played this season especially in the second half.
yes i agree we held on! thats what i mean about winning. its essential
if we play ugly and lose then its not great memories for the kids!
do you agree now?
The kids are there through thick and thin which was my point, whether it's Huckerby or Ndlovu or not.
I haven't said last night wasn't different as it is obvious it was.
you said the kids are always here as if no different to a saturday. myself, otis and others on different threads have mentioned that more kids there yesterday and great to see with smiles on their faces. and hopefully they will become hooked.
yesterday was better for the kids. we need more nights like this. the attitude of there always there so why aim for more magical nights is quite frankly scary.
you still have explained why you made a dig about kids coming over to my house to wacth champions league. please explain or apolgoise?
I thought it was your policy to watch games on sky rather than go to them? Self explanatory really.
Thanks fuck for that. Now, remind me what time I'm dropping the kids round tonight?i forgive you because im a nice guy. i think you will learn from this...hopefully.
happy to move on now.

Too young to go, or are you just a bad parent?Seeing my lads face this morning, upon telling him the score was priceless.
He was walking to school this morning singing the Wembley song...
i used his age as an excuse (he's 4) but I couldn't take seeing him being as disappointed as he was after the Cambridge cup gameToo young to go, or are you just a bad parent?
Yeah, fair point. For every euphoria of such a win there is the other side of the coin of bitter disappointment of a defeat.i used his age as an excuse (he's 4) but I couldn't take seeing him being as disappointed as he was after the Cambridge cup game
Not just the real young kids, but the amount of 14-18 year olds at the games still is impressive. 5 quid for an under 21 works well.
