Who is the worst Goalkeeper you've ever seen?

Not necessarily less talented, but perhaps playing way out of their depth?

Either due to them making constant mistakes, or for them just being a poor shot stopper?

Doesn't have to have played for Cov.

Gomes is a quality shotstopper, he's just bat shit insane and makes premium grade clangers.

Andy Dibble was pretty gash, still love watching the Crosby goal.

Gomes ? Really ?

Gomes is a quality keeper, sure he made one or two mistakes last season but he was in my opinion still one of the best keepers in the Prem,

That's like saying David James is the worst keeper ever because he made a few mistakes flapping for balls from corners early in his career...

raffaele nuzzo, remember watching him in his only game for us, i think at wigan in the cup when wigan were shite. We were stood on a grass bank behind the goal that was lethal in the rain and people would just slide from the top to the bottom on a regular basis. Great laugh and great times but a truly terrible keeper.

we also had a keeper on trial during a friendly v port vale a few years ago, cant remember his name but he was bloody awful! some moroccan geezer i think, must have just got off the boat!

for the older one's on here, we had a keeper in the early seventies who was back up to Bill Glazier,i think, and he was blond and i think his name was Eric McManus.My memory is long past his best but the people on here will know who i mean and remember his full name etc.
What i'm trying to say is he was diabolical, even when he played well ,and the whole ground used to hold there breath every time the ball went near him.

Eric McManus!!!!!!! I remember him well. As a kid I used to get taken to the reserve team games when he was Glaziers understudy. Didn't he play in the European game where we got a tanking because Glazier was ill?

slightly off thread - I seem to remember Raddy Aramovic scoring a goal at Highfield Road, It was a goal kick that went in the other end. Is my memory playing tricks or am I right

Avramovic was terrible and I think he conceded from another goalkeepers clearance, (probably against Watford?), and this along with some other howlers led to Bobby Gould dropping him and never picking him again. He is the worst I can remember but then
because I have only see City play a few times since moving to live in Scotland in 2002
I haven't had the pleasure of seeing some of the recent goalkeepers.

Thats him we lost 6-1 to Bayern Munich and if I remember 4 goals were his mistakes, still beat them in the return leg 2-1. That was against a good Bayern team including Gerd Muller and Beckanbaur

Yes, remember it well. From the West End kicking to the Kop when the wind was up. Was on the same season a few games before when he conceded one in the same way from Steve Sherwood for Watford. Think he hit the bar that season too.

Scott Carson, what a complete clown he is, dreadful keeper, he needs to get his teeth sorted as well, they annoy the hell out of me, if you're earning 30k a week you'd think you would spend some of it on getting that huge gap in your teeth sorted, hes so overrated it's untrue. I literally hate him. :slap:
