Loannees are obvious enough, but who is out of contract this summer?

Well last contract was an undisclosed extension in Oct 2011 do you think that he was signed for more than 2 1/2 years, till he is nearly 33!
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/15372853

This is the only place I can find an end date for his contract, 30 Jun 14 and it isn't really a reliable source as far s I know, but there are no others.
http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/carl-baker/profil/spieler_54041.html

PS According to transfermarkt.co.uk also out of contract this summer, Lee Burge, Aaron Phillips, Louis Garner, Lewis Rankin, Mark Marshall, Dylan McGeouch, Ben Maund, Callum Wilson, Nathan Delfonso, Chuka Akpom. But Callum signed till 2015 http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/24760361, and Aaron Phillips top 2016 http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/25568064, so I know it can't be trusted.

murphy and moussa will be bigger than any signing we could make if we get them to resign. irreplaceable with a £0 budget.

I assume in terms of loan players the main culprit was delfouneso. He may not as well have even got on the bus today. If he played as well as he talked himself up he wouldn't be farmed out by villa at every opportunity.

Can't point the finger at murphy in my opinion. Awesome penalty save and he was exposed by 2 dreadful centre halves for 2 of their goals. So frustrating I was surprised baker stayed on the pitch and don't understand why Moussa was the fall guy yet again. Looks like we are going have yet another revolving door in the summer, getting rid of the high earners and replacing them with shit. That was the vibe I got from Waggott's waffle the other week (I bet he loves waffles too the giant walrus)

Pressley was a centre half. If there was one area of the team you though he would have sewn up it would be that.

We shouldnt be conceeding 3 goals to ANYONE in this league.

Completely agree. I haven't checked but we must have THE worst record for goals conceded in the league by now (I know we were second several weeks back behind Crewe). His decisions today were pretty bizarre. Leaving the chuckle brothers on at centre back and bringing arguably our most competent centre half on at left back. I hope this isn't the start of a number of weird decisions which turn the fans against him. I want him to do well more than any of the past 5/6 but he's not helped himself of late

Pressley generally has done a great job in the circumstances this season but his selections over the past couple of months have been baffling. His man management is worrying me a little bit as well.

Franck blows hot & cold, too much for my liking!
Murphy, great shot stopper but we need a much taller agile keeper!
Christie, not been the same for a while!
Baker should be re signed!
The whole team needs changing & we definately need a new spine to the team!
We need more taller & aggresive players as the garden gnomes in the defence are way to weak!
Also the chuckle brothers in midfield are the main culprits, putting extreme pressure on defence! (Fleck & Thomas).
Presso should know about weak defence as he was a poor defender!
Great manager though & fans asking for his head need a reality check!
He has had to go through a hell of a lot this season & next season could be even worse!!
His comments about a smaller budget is worrying & take it Wilson will be the next through the exit doors this summer?!?
Guess Sisu need to finance the new stadium & fans are not helping the funding by boycotting their club?

I agree there lads. I know this may sound negative and boring, but I'd rather get a point or a 1-0 win than scoring 3 and conceding 4 or more.

I don't really remember hiim much when he played for us. What was our win ratio with him in the team? Did we leak as many as now with him in charge?

Whilst I agree, the poor defensive record is not entirely down to the centre backs, our fullbacks are also not great defensively and our midfield is powderpuff without the ball.

Centre backs did ok yesterday. They were completely isolated for the equaliser. Why have we got 9 players pushed forwards despite being a goal up away from home?

Why is it when a player in his mid 20's has a bad game it is a "blip" but when a player edging towards or over 30 has a bad game he is "finished"?

I'm sorry if this upsets most on here but good managers get 100% from every single one of their players they pick. They know them and see them in training all week so should know who is in form and up for a game. Someone on this thread said Pressley was a defender so should know what to do, what if you weren't a very good defender? Maybe if the club showed some bollocks and came out and gave contracts to people like Murphy and Moussa and gave decent long term contracts to some of the others then they might actually want to give something to the club. The way the club are fannying around, what do they expect the players to do when they cannot be sure they will be offered new deals despite players like Moussa being one of the best goal scoring midfielders in the league or Murphy being one of the best keepers. Fuck me, who can blame players like Leon Clarke wanting away or Christie when they don't have a clue where they will even be playing next season? The manager chooses the players to go across the white line and the club are supposed to back him in getting the players in, but the way I see it, neither are doing their jobs well at the moment.

Pretty much spot on, plus if they signed Moussa and Murphy up, there would be some happiness shown towards the club from fans. But ATM SISU seem to be doing the opposite of what is best for the club. Even if they offered a DECENT contract to Moussa and he rejected it, it's a start

He's had more than 1 bad game, he's lately been disappointing by last seasons standards, and again is part of the powderpuff midfield that's contributes to our poor defensive record. He's also one of our highest earners on a reported £7k per week when after employers in contributions is about £380k per annum or to put it another way, he gets paid approx 20% of our wage bill. For that he should be head and shoulders above every player in our squad.

The average wage of a league one footballer is £1.5k per week, could get 2-3 very good replacements on what we're paying baker.

It all depends on what their wage demands are.

Some were offered and signed deals while we were in L1 and the prospect of playing at Sixfields. How much more could they possibly be asking for? Could it be that the club want them off the payroll?

Who are you on about? The only 2 players signed in league one who's contract runs out in the summer is Marshall and moussa?

They offered christie a contract, are we sure they haven't offered moussa or murphy one? Or at least held talks with their agents to see what their demands are?

With the way the Sisu/Otium PR machine works, do you not think we would have heard by now? Surprised Labovitch hasn't come out and said that they are only 3 weeks away from signing. We read and hear all the time that clubs are in talks with players/agents about new deals before anything has been decided, why don't we hear about our players in talks?

A lot of that is agents getting stories in the press, to alert suiters and try and push the offers up. Apart from the top 5-6 PL clubs you don't tend to hear those stories.

They've definitely offered christie one. If Murphy is on the reported £7k (~£380k total renumeration), then we're probably are looking to offer an extension on lower terms at the end of the season. He's hardly going to sign a new contract on lower terms replacing his higher terms for 5-6 months.

I didn't realise our players don't have agents. You're right about the top teams getting national press about player stories. However, local papers still run these stories about local players all over the country. You seem to like digging out stats etc so have a look.

The next time sisu do something that is best for the Club it will be the first time. I hope when it happens it will be
to say they have sold the Club and are going.

Moussa was on Shane O'Connors CWR show last week saying he has not heard anything from club.

I heard some of the show where he said so.
