Why are fans surprised? (1 Viewer)

We've been playing shit since the turn of the year. I started a thread over a month ago that the season is faultering. Only now fans are surprised. Still the question needs to be asked. What has gone on for us to go from top of league back end of November to mid table again? Mowbary has lost the plot. His subs tonight were ridiculous again. Losing 1-0 yet still keeps vicnelot and fleck on. No urgency to attack a team who have only kept 3 clean sheets all season! Poor

A few on here want to give the clown another season

If it was Pressley the whole board would be calling for his head. Because he's a "big" name people are wearing tinted glasses. 9 defeats in 13 games is unacceptable and questions need to be asked. Our best chance of success for many a season gone. The joys of being a city fan

He's the type of manager that would rather lose 1- 0 than really go for it and risk conceding another.

I hate managers like that.

Having you been living in a bubble, we've all (with a few exceptions) been acutely aware that it's been coming crashing down for weeks and there have been endless threads on here about it. Nobody is at all surprised by tonight's result.

Really? The amount of posts before tonight saying we will win. Still got a chance of playoffs. Blah blah. I'm not living in a bubble. I've been saying for months it's gone shit. I got slated for it.

I don't spend loads of time on here so I'll defer on that, but I've read a number of threads recently where the general consensus has been we're going nowhere this season. Will always be those that try to cling on to a little bit of hope. Can't be too hard on them - the alternative would be to admit that we're every bit as shit this season and we have been in the previous three. It's a bitter pill to swallow.
