Why are we so average away? (1 Viewer)

Whilst we could have won any of our away games apart from Luton, why are we just not doing it away from the CBS Arena. Is it two goals scored, a missed penalty and now a good few conceded. Players who look like world beaters at home, look tentative away. The away support is awesome when we are allowed enough tickets. Any thoughts on the reasons and how it can be addressed? More long balls down the channels or stick to our footballing gameplan? I feel things are going to change in the way we approach away games. Lets hope it works for the better as we can't realistically approach a game again like we did against Luton.

We arnt average, we are shit away from home.
Average would be a big improvement!
I think a tactical change is needed, 1 up front and a defensive midfielder in front of the back 3.
As things are we are far too open and allow teams to exploit space behind our wing backs. And we havnt played a decent team yet, so changes will almost certainly be made imho.

QPR and Luton are decent - only the relegated 3, Bournemouth, Stoke and possibly PNE, Blackburn who are at their level or above.

I don’t think we are shit away from home we are naive. Barnsley for example the result could have been reversed quite easily. QPR had we have taken the chances in the first half we could easily have been 2-0 up. Millwall again that result could have gone either way.
After the international break we will I’m sure revert to 1 up front and I imagine get a few 0-0’s be far less entertaining. Irrespective I am sure Robins has already started to put a plan into action.

Luton’s pitch is small and it compressed are ability to stretch the pitch. However, it didn’t help that some players attitude wasn’t right in my opinion and we were outfought.

Are Luton a better team them us? Technically not a chance but physically they battered the shite out of us. We need a mixture of the both to do anything in This league.

Away think that gyok up front on his own with an extra defensive midfielder on instead of a second striker that could be the sender and we played 1up front v Blackpool and that's the game we won away.
