No club is allowed a pitch invasion.

I'm sure if we did get proper success it would be hard not to stop a pitch invasion.

They have to be seen to try and prevent a pitch invasion otherwise the club can be fined. When we left HR they emphasised over and over again that we weren't allowed to go on the pitch, yet eventually those who wanted to get on did. I saw a few CCFC fans swinging for female stewards that day, not nice at all.

Quite right - no club is "allowed" a pitch invasion. It I's illegal to. Also - what is the need to do it? Your personal intent might be one of celebration...but other idiots see it as an opportunity to thump the goalkeeper!

People in the WT tried to get on as soon as the final whistle blew, but of course there had to be the lap of honour etc. Even afterwards the stewards were physically trying to prevent people getting on, but of course once a few got on they couldn't do much to stop everyone else.

If we have a pitch invasion and get fined how long would it take for Sisu to pay it

Its a stupid rule, surely if its our pitch we should be able to invade it. Its like not being allowed to run on your own garden. Hideous.

The pitch in fact an expensive necessity to buy, lay & maintain...that's why clubs don't like them being trampled upon by hundreds at a time. The legal position is because historically things have turned nasty between fans & players or simply between rival fans.

I would much rather have a plastic pitch then if we can invade it more often. Personally once this whistle goes i would give the opposition players 30 seconds to get off then it should be a free for all.

They certainly tried to stop people at the final whistle in the WT. I was standing in the first row and they were trying to stop people from getting on at first.

There ain't enough if you really want to get on,there that thin on the ground you could have a fag downstairs if you wanted.

What a bloody stupid thread title. Why would ANY club be happy to accept a few thousand morons to run amok on their pitch? I just can't understand the mentality of some posters on here sometimes. That's why I have that strapline at the bottom of my posts.

It shows how low we've gone if people want to have a pitch invasion for that. If it was to get to the final I could at least see where people were coming from!
