But another keeper would surely stop the odd shot,Put Courtois in goal, we still gonna conceed every week. Binks, Dasilva, Thomas should be nowhere near the Championship.
Collins alongside the 3 above are the reason why Robins was sacked, the reason why we are in a relegation scrap.
We need a completely new centre back pair, a brand new left back , all 3 being Championship level, and give either Wilson or Dovin the job in goal.
Looks like Collins has some competition for being a shite keeper from Ward at Lesta( he cost them £12 million quid ) . Never been a decent keeper and was comical in the 0-3 home defeat today to Wolves. But another keeper would surely stop the odd shot,
Fabian Debec what a shite keeperIs he the worst goalkeeper we’ve had in the championship that’s played more than 10 games for the club??
Honourable mention to Fabian Debec….
Now apparently a goal keeping coach.Fabian Debec what a shite keeper
Can’t be any worse than Aled WilliamsNow apparently a goal keeping coach.
i thought this too.Yes Lampard mentioned individual mistakes in his post match interview yesterday so I presume Collins and Dasilva will be dropped. Hopefully Binks too.
He’s in contention for being the worst in this league in years
He really didn't. Not sure why people keep peddling this myth. Collins was brought in as no.2, maybe even no.3 if Moore got his head straight and cost a nominal fee.Robins bought Collins to be our number 1 keeper. He apparently was impressed with the Barnsley league 1 defence following their relegation.
Robins took chopping and changing to new heights and had no clue what his best 11 was.
I assume Lampard was trying to find a stable 11 after a few half decent performances and build confidence. I can understand that.
What I won't understand is if he plays Collins ever again.

Nonsense. He bought in the Barnsley back 3 to play together. He really didn't. Not sure why people keep peddling this myth. Collins was brought in as no.2, maybe even no.3 if Moore got his head straight and cost a nominal fee.
Was my choice in the summer
He is better with his feet than Wilson but is still terrible at it I just do not see what they saw in him apart from he was at ChelseaHe cost £600,000 and played 31 games last season. Moore was never playing again at the club. Robins and Viveash saw him as the best option of using the keeper as someone who can move play forward with his better ball skill then Wilson
You’re gonna look back on those words about Thomas and chuckle to yourselfPut Courtois in goal, we still gonna conceed every week. Binks, Dasilva, Thomas should be nowhere near the Championship.

Seriously based on what mate? Honestly, some fans are literally dilusional, Binks, Thomas and Dasilva are 3 of the worst defenders we have had in this division. You’re gonna look back on those words about Thomas and chuckle to yourself
How are the banners coming along?Seriously based on what mate? Honestly, some fans are literally dilusional, Binks, Thomas and Dasilva are 3 of the worst defenders we have had in this division.
No1 is looking back and chuckling, no1 is developing into a top level defender and no1 is going upwards in their career.
Every week we concede minimum 2 goals, blame the keeper all you want, Binks cannot defend, ball watching, weak, no defensive awareness, but can play a long ball so he's automatically a decent player with potential, this is the delusion of some fans.
Bobby Thomas, can't pass a ball 6 yards, reckless and he reminds me of Jordan Pickford playing at centre back, rash and again not good enough.
Jay Dasilva, stealing a living, 10 grand a week.
You can say whatever you want but look where we are in the league and look at every game played, there is a clear pattern and that is our defenders are shit, we concede 2 goals a game minimum and our defence has embaressed us.
Pompey scored 4 goals against us and you are telling me I will look back and chuckle at my comments about Bobby Thomashonestly what world you living in mate.

And then there was HullThat's why he lost his place; he came for balls against Sunderland, Millwall, etc., got nowhere near and cost us goals. He seemed to lose his ability to judge when to come and when to stay.

Not going to disagree too strongly with you Grendal although I was told 5 figures on the fee - unclear if we even paid that. He had served his contract. There was an option for another year but he was a championship signing for Barnsley on championship wages and wasn't necessarily first team (wasn't playing towards the end of the season) so we were doing them a favour. Moore was very unlikely to play again so we needed cover for Wilson. Vivesh thought he was worth a punt. He was cheap and available and happy to come to the club as no.2/3.Nonsense. He bought in the Barnsley back 3 to play together.
The Dovin purchase is looking like a slow burn, maybe in 2 years he will come good but he is still very young for a first choice Championship goalie. Not going to disagree too strongly with you Grendal although I was told 5 figures on the fee - unclear if we even paid that. When Wilson went through an iffy patch, Robins took him out of the firing line for 6 games, then when he put Wilson back in things hadn't really improved so we started to look for a new no.1 to replace him resulting in Dovin.
Yeah, I don't know anything about Dovin but my assumption is that he was expected to hit the ground running. Still early days for him. Hopefully he can re-establish himself sooner rather than later. Wilson will probably go at the end of the season so unless we go out and buy yet another keeper...The Dovin purchase is looking like a slow burn, maybe in 2 years he will come good but he is still very young for a first choice Championship goalie.
I would not be surprised if Wilson stays, the squad needs some stability and his character is seen as having a positive effect in and around the squad.Yeah, I don't know anything about Dovin but my assumption is that he was expected to hit the ground running. Q: “Can I ask, are you contemplating a change in goal, are you prepared to say that?”
FL: “No”
I hope this is a joke that's going over my head. Surely we can't start Collins again, at this point even if Wilson is injured and Dovin bombed out you might as well put a youth team keeper in.Q&A to Lampard in his presser today:

He's hardly going to come out and say he is going to make a change is he, giving intel to Plymouth...Q&A to Lampard in his presser today:
