Why do clubs buy players when you can pick up some good out of contract freebees ? :thinking about:

Anyone can bid for free agents, clubs like us couldn't compete for an in contract player

Hhmm......Tevez,Silva & Aguero in contract. Elliott & Beattie out of contract, Buy or Freebie such tough decision

Transfer fees will become less and contacts will become shorter, particularly in the lower leagues, as money is tighter and FFP rules kick in.

A 3 year deal is really a 2 year window if a club wants to make a profit

This, the reason there's such good free's about at the moment is because clubs are having to cut there wage bills to comply with the new "living within your means" rules, so clubs with high wages players that are just sitting on the bench or regularly injured are letting them go and bringing in youth players
