Why don't I get a "like" when I post? (1 Viewer)

Sorry if I am being thick but I am quite new to this, but whenever a post a new thread I don't get a "like" by my name. Is it something I am doing wrong?

I tried licking a post once and my tongue got stuck. It was -10 degrees and bloody freezing. So don't go licking posts! Unless you're going to post a letter. Then you can lick the stamp!
