We win next game and it's 1 win, 3 draws, undefeated. Won't look at all bad. 4 games undefeated and a win.
If we lose though, 3 draws and 1 defeat and then it's all going to look quite awful with no wins in 4 games.
Draw again of course and it's as we were and it's stretched to no wins in 4 games.
Draws are only good if they are followed by wins. Follow them up with defeats and it will indeed be the panic button. What people are most concerned about though is the throwing away of points from winning positions THREE times in a row. That is simply not acceptable. Last season we were one of the favourites to go down so this was more excusable, but this season we are one of the top favourites so go up so it simply should not be happening.
Happening it is though and I can fully understand why people are beginning to panic.
Based on early season form our point at Yeovil is looking like a good point won and we restricted them to one goal. Bury we're in front for most of their game at Doncaster and know they played badly first half. What was most concerning wa the speed it took us to react. Bury switched to a 424 / 433 formation and we were to slow to respond. Finally Brown needs to be taken out of he iring line otherwise his confidence will be shot. Think we should put Wood at full back at the other French guy at centre half or try something radical like 3 at the back. PUSB
3 games in we have 3 points. No we havent won a game but we havent lost one neither. All the Anti thorn chants are stupid the seasons a marathon not a sprint. We have 43 games left this season all we need is a win once we get a win whether in cup or league football i think we will start to believe and start winning games. All the people that booed the team off today take a look at yourselves if you were a true fan you would support your team win lose or draw. Keep the Faith PUSB!!!
Because new season, same story. 6 points dropped in 3 games. Very worrying. Team on paper is one of the best and yet in 3 games we still haven't won. Even Walsall are currently above us. Lowest placed 'midlands' team at the min.
