Most of those who don't attend Sixfields aren't stirring up trouble, most I speak to, just can't understand the motivation of those who do. United we stand. A complete no-show - and I mean zero fans - would attract more focus on our plight. And therefore surely bring about quicker resolution. Every fan who turns up dilutes that message.
It's like applying international sanctions to a country, and one - probably France!! - doesn't join in. It depletes the actions of the balance
Guess my post touched a raw nerve.
Free speech gone football team gone.
Yes indeed. Wrong to have it suppressed. All the libertarians that demand the right to go to Sixfields oddly quiet about your free speech being curtailed.Guess my post touched a raw nerve.

Because it's yet another shouty us and them post that is now tedious.
No that isn't the reason, it seems to depend on what opinion you express.
Again, how many posts or threads have been moderated in the last week and how many have been anti SISU with the same opinions? It is not about what opinions are, it is how they are put across sometimes and the purpose behind the post.
Using your theory then OSB as an example must be a fan of SISU because he has never had a post moderated?
That is nonsense & you know it.
Nick I suspect you know that in reality many fans are in the not going to Sixfields camp (if that is not too divisive) rather than NOPM, but you pretty much accuse those who go to away games e.g Arsenal as lacking principles because they buy tickets from CCFC - when there is no other option. If I was sensitive it might be a bit offensive, so should I object every time you bring it up? (I'm not bothered by the way)They can't all be tarred with the same brush to be fair, I know I say things about "people who went to Arsenal" but that is usually in response to somebody having a go at giving people SISU money and is usually aimed at the select few who were happy to go to Arsenal and give them money. The same as all that go into games and all that stand on the hill can be put into a group.
The only group should be city fans to be fair.

Just let people be unless they are being offensive or personal as we are all able to ignore or comment on posts as we choose. Agree we could do without the name calling and that we should stick together as City fans, but it isnt the way it is.
I have to agree
A reason to close a thread is because it is either abusive or liable.
If it is because you are bored of the conversation just ignore it, surely?
Or that the thread / post was made with the aim of it getting abusive and some did find it abusive in some ways.

Did nit read through the history just assumed it was closed because it was the 'same old same old' argument again
Even if no one turnes up, it wouldn't make a difference to sisu or the FL. This is just a notion put forward by the nopm brigade. Nice to see that their plan of starving sisu out is going well.
I dare say your kind of response highlights why the original thread was closed as you have dived in on the assumption that I was trying to justify the club being in Northampton and why I go to watch them. 1, there is no justification for the club to play games in Northampton, for balance I don't like the Councils role in it all either.By that logic if we get an extra 2000 to go we can get another 2 players for the squad or return to the Ricoh and have significantly more income and an even better squad. When owners are running a football club for non-football reasons logic goes out the window. To qoute Star Trek's Spock "its illogical" northants makes no sense so don't try to justify our being there or attending games there its nonsense. Make a stand put the pressure on don't go.
No confliction at all. It means Sisu would continue to play at 6fields and cut their cloth accordingly....."In the grand scheme of things they hardly contribute to the Sisu coffers. It would just mean we would lose another player or 2 out of the squad if they stopped attending.".......................A bit of a conflicting statement there mate???
@ SkyBlueScottie......"cut their cloth accordingly".........................That is all SISU have done since they arrived mateThe point in question is, If nobody attended Sixfields at all, this whole farce would be ended much sooner, instead of prolonging the death of CCFC. Which IMHO will happen anyway.
Exactly! Those who call for threads to be closed and posters to be banned remind me of the Mary Whitehouse brigade, tuning in to be offended.I have to agree

There are many posters on here who don't go but can't stand posters like Gosford and Spion Kop with their twisted logic.
The thing is though it is all opinion isn't it. People will disagree which is fine as long as it isn't abusive or crossing the line.
